if your budget is around RM350, get this trouble free router, excellent for home use, Tp-Link Archer C7 V4 (3 year warranty) able to cover double story house if you place the router near center of the house.

If you don't mind refurbish unit (no warranty) T-Mobile Asus TM-1900/ RT-AC68U is better performance. at around RM300 including shipping from TaoBao.

both above 2 models should serve you fine.

Bad news, T-Mobile ASUS TM1900 are restricted to flash with new FW, according to Merlin.

Bought one from taobao and arrived last week. It didn't come with Merlin (stock TM-AC1900 firmware with locked CFE instead).
Followed the instruction as link below and luckily managed to unlock the unit and get into the latest Merlin 384.5 release.
* Don't install the latest stock ASUS firmware, otherwise it will be locked again.
This is the stock ASUS firmware version u need to flash into the latest Merlin build: FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626
U may find this firmware in Softpedia as ASUS no longer hosting this firmware

Edit : Not sure about upgrading from existing Merlin build. Will try to flash one if there's new release coming.
in the meantime, can try to use mtd-write method to flash to the latest version through putty and winscp.

Seller named jing678218
No idea why merlin isn't included even though the ads said yes.
Nevertheless it's quite an experience especially the unit i received has latest T-Mobile firmware with locked CFE.

Where got cheapest? smile.gif This is USD22. The hAP Mini is USD20. Wish the price will go down a bit here. USD22 translates to RM125 in the case of the hAP Lite.

I gave up mikrotik when i failed to achieve the desired result configuring wifi bonding (mimo). Documentation is okay, but sometimes did not reflect latest cli syntax. Overall it is still a great product.

What Microtik router do extra compare to Asus 68U? even tp-link archer C7 very good d with simple setting.

Of all the many things, I think scalability is the most important advantage it has. I use the RB750Gr3 but it applies to even the 2nd cheapest Mikrotik, the RM125 RB941-2nd.

Yes, if you meant the Archer C7 v4, it is a good investment.

For the price of TP-Link Archer C7, you're better off buying the ASUS RT-AC68U from Taobao
