Kumho PS31
Hankook V12 Evo2

From what i read, the above are UHP tyres with soft sidewalls and as a result have bad effects on handling.

Whereas Dunlop D05, non-UHP but have harder sidewalls.

May i know which is better and what difference should I expect to feel?

For 195/55r15 on Iriz btw.

dunlop d05 sidewall are soft.
if you want hard sidewall, achiles atr sport have harder sidewall, michelin sidewall are harder too.

Sorry if wrong thread, just want some opinions.

In past two months I send 4 cars to change all 4 tyres
(Mine, wifey, kids, all due same time, big bleeding)

What surprised me was:
1. Valve, balancing, etc no longer free, pay extra rm60+ for these.

2. Every car also kena add camber screws because alignment out. Another rm120.

Done at 2 different workshops. All cars less than 5 years old.

So just wondering did I get fleeced n paid for unnecessary service? Workshop all pakat to charge more?
Well, I do walk like, talk like n look like a waterfish...

Guys, looking to change tire soon..40k already on stock (silvestone m3)

any recommended tire for this size = 175/65/r14?

for comfort (low nvh) driving, long usage

btw, my car is IRIZ 1.3. Currently leaning towards Dunlop J5. Is this tire any good?

Depends on your rim width. Some 15x6.5jj, some 15x7jj.....the jj is rim width.

Why is kumho ps31 so cheap here? It's a UHP tyre.
It's even cheaper than dunlop d05 and hankook ventus concept2.

At lazada selling only rm125/pc for 195/55r15. shocking.gif i checked wit another shop, also similar price. Too cheap also feel suspicious. Furthermore i see so few PS31 on the road compared to the other 2.
