I got a call yesterday for RM179 - 30mbps. I accepted but now i am waiting for the confirmation email.
The agent told me that you can't get this if you walk to TM outlet.

Yours is an upgrade, so it's up to them to call the subscribers to offer. For new or existing users want to get this price, then it's not possible unless being offered.

The RM179 price only last for 2 Years. After 2 years, you still have to pay RM199.

Well no one know what will happened after 2 years. Price may drop further for 30MB and RM199 for 50 or 100MB. Lol

Well, some ppls say TM allows them to unsubscribe to the HyppTV after 1 year contract with HyppTV.

Not going to make a significant difference. You are better off getting a better router or setup a powerline wireless extender.

Omni antenna or directional antenna? If like one cylinder tube that one, you can throw it away. Only directional antenna is usable. But, you srill need a high power aplifier, if not, the antenna will not work.

I asked CS and the guy in TM Point before, they gave me the same answer... My current promo and plan will be terminated if I unsubscribe HyppTV after a year.

if you dont watch might be still worth it.

for me i pay 159.00 + GST for the internet only. i will cancel HyppTV cause we never use it at all. still can save some money even if the promo discount is waived afterwards.
