So far away from KL of course the ping wouldn't be single digit. I live about 20 miles to KL and always less than 7ms ping

The ad is not only in this thread, in this section actually.

Yes and very obvious but they didn't want to admit. sleep.gif

So true... They only want to earn more money, don't even care about customer's satisfactory. What a big money eater company.

Word from the 'xiong di' group today is that pending some reallocation of resources from the Sungai Buloh area, Unifi subscribers living in parts of PJ with postcodes 47xxx can expect to be overcapped again soon... at least until subscriber numbers reach the next plateau, I guess.

What does it mean by limiting bandwidth? Full ports or limited ports so they cap?

Well, this whole week the mornings has been like this. Yes, max speed is around there 28mbps.
Currently stay in high rise.

Below is my current speed.
...
Will do more testing in the coming days

Once you can discern a pattern, complain to TM. Most likely a congestion problem if happening during peak hours. Hopefully TM has some dark fibre to increase bandwidth to your area.

I think maybe full port in the area, so they just capped the bandwidth to make sure nok congestion happen. Maybe.

Got a call from TM to confirm their installation team coming next week.

Finally. Hope that with Unifi 30, everyone in my family (currently on 8 Mbps) can feel the faster speed, consistency, a lot less buffering, etc.

First time using fiber optic on the net! Sounds like a kid opening Christmas present! Ha.

Tm speedtest is generally more reliable and accurate. Speedtest sometimes the server has issues. Test multiple kuala lumpur servers though to check.

The easiest way is to download a file and see. I always try using this method via IDM.
