QUOTE(JarodLeong @ Jun 16 2016, 11:34 AM) I see. Got the sms today and was worry that I need to pay extra monthly after the free upgrade so start google about this. Been received many calls ask to upgrade but i reject all. Just be wary and have a contingency plan for the likelihood that they are slowly nudging you along to one day 'rebrand' the only VIP plan left as Advance something-or-other, and dump the Voice Pack on you for RM20, with the option of refusing it if you sign a fresh 2-year contract.

QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jun 16 2016, 01:13 PM) *does user with 5Mbps package upgrade to 10Mbps still have free landline to landline call? To be fair, it was never absolutely landline to landline, only TM to TM. Calls to Maxis or TIME landlines were still charged. It's just that up until about 4 years or so, almost all landlines were TM ones, and it wasn't really a factor, so it just got glossed over. QUOTE(kebeckham7 @ Jun 16 2016, 02:15 PM) do they still get the free call? or they got 10Mbps upgrade and nothing else change? I can still call TM landlines for free, yes. Too bad half the places I need to call, including my office downtown, no longer have TM landlines.

QUOTE(meeprat @ Jun 17 2016, 06:27 PM) Currently it's set to 208.122.23.23/22 which is the DNS unblocker service I'm using to get access to Hulu US. So far it's letting me load most sites but I'm still getting the redirects when trying to load Amazon/Apple. Is that set on your device or on your router? If it is set on your device, you need to check what you are using for your DNS on your router.

QUOTE(meeprat @ Jun 17 2016, 07:22 PM) Those settings are on the router level. Ok, for the sake of going through a process of elimination, try using Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 on your PC/laptop. See if that works - i.e. overriding the DNS from the router.

Word from the 'xiong di' group today is that pending some reallocation of resources from the Sungai Buloh area, Unifi subscribers living in parts of PJ with postcodes 47xxx can expect to be overcapped again soon... at least until subscriber numbers reach the next plateau, I guess.

Is Unifi cancelled the moment you walk into a TMpoint, fill in the cancellation form and return the modem? Or is there a cooling-off period?
