Either spend online at 500 (4%) or 800 - 833.33 (6%).. It is like SCB cashback gold.. To maximize ur cashback, the best is to spend online between 800 to 833.33, else spend RM500 then stop.. This can only be fulfilled if we can use the card at Payonline and Posonline for us to "manage" the amount we want to pay..

For my UOB one card, they straight waive for 3 years when I call up to check my anniversary date.. I think they d know my intention to call, so they straight offer to waive for 3 years without me to ask..

true, without payonline & posonline, it is hard to manage the online amount to spend with YOLO.
SCB gold is easier to control since it can spend in any category.

Too bad the vox will be discontinued, I wonder when is the last rebate month we have for VOX?

Can we write them an email to confirm whether POSONLINE eligible for the cash rebate?

It's not even officially announced anywhere that current VOX's benefits will be discontinued nor telling the fate of current VOX users. hmm.gif Though VOX is removed from their website so expect some announcements soon to existing users.

We knew UOB blast SMS on promotion, though they never post or blast out winners list.
How do they usually announce bad news??

Maybank is the unethically way - no blasting but just an unnoticeable update in their website.
While, OCBC more responsible by blasting out SMS even benefits degradation.

Regarding UOB Payonline, what is "Call UOB 121"? The number is 121?

I have problem with Payonline TNB two weeks ago, made two payment due to first payment shown as "Not Approved", but credit card actually charged twice. Wrote it via payonline@uob.com.my for dispute a week ago, no reply...

You can call UOB CS to check about PayOnline matter. I remember calling once to UOB CS for UOBPayOnline issue.

Better not email to unnecessarily "alert" them on this. I suggest we shall try it out ourselves, especially those who have maxed out their other online rebate cards. Just try a small amount will do, after spending online elsewhere.

Somebody was informed by UOB staff that VOX's benefits will be ceased and replaced with YOLO. However, still no news so status quo then...

after TNB (possibly not accepted by YOLO), next headaches would be TM/UNIFI and ASTRO.

Look like this card has lots of restriction. One of them is bill payment which is not entitled for the cash back.

Existing Vox also excluded bill payment, the trick is whether bill payment via uobpayonline applicable for the new card

VOX Card: Minimum online spend of RM 50, 5% cashback

YOLO Card: Minimum online spend of RM 500, 4% cashback

Definitely, YOLO card is harder to use, since minimum spending is so much higher, with lower cashback.

Sigh, I personally do not spend that much on online transactions, so YOLO card does not suit me at all.

I hope that UOB can keep existing features of VOX card, but the change is inevitable.
