just got the 7.0 update up and running. looks like the zs570KL runs much more smoothly after the update.

All the zenfone 3 series get 7.0 except zenfone 3 ultra.

Maybe due low lower market share?

The price is a joke with that kind of spec. I doubt it sell any.

Maybe it'll be due soon. But yeah, probably due to the smaller user base, it has been pushed further back.
The phone is nice, but I do share the same opinion as others regarding the price. If it was around the cheaper variant of Zenfone 3 Deluxe, it would sell better.

Zenfone 3 Max battery life any review? Looking for new phone that can last 1 day with light usage (web browsing, music playing)

Still V1 this Zf3 thread. Zf3 is underrated here, to me personally very good buy for SD625 and SD821 with good camera, plus easily get discount. Dont compare to Xiaomi their Redmi camera is crap and warranty troublesome.

Agreed, very underrated, maybe due to the bad reviews of previous zenfones. Also the lack of marketing and advertising from Asus.

Both the 5.2" and 5.5" should last you the whole day with light usage. Used the 5.2" previously for a week, and the battery life is good.

The phone is underrated because people prefer specs rather than overall performance. To me as a user, it is actually doing pretty well. I do feel the upgrade coming from Xperia Z3 Compact, with better screen, better camera, better overall performance and better everyday battery life. The CPU performance isn't that bad compared to Snapdragon 650 and 652 but the GPU performance is noticeably lower, but I still manage to play all the games I'm playing on my phone smoothly.

The one I looking at is 553KL (forgot front model alphabet)

I think it's underrated because of the Asus brand and lack of marketing. People think of Samsung, oppo, huawei, xiaomi but Asus is more of a computer brand. The specs and price is actually quite good.
