QUOTE(ashraf095 @ Aug 12 2016, 02:19 AM) Sd625 isn't crappy at all. It gives you all the performance you need while at the same time they greatly improve efficiency with 14nm processor for smooth gaming even on FHD with no overheating. In fact zen3 is much cooler than other competitor. Battery life is also superb. Even with 3000mah it is on par with RN3 4000mah battery (though not much review atm). Sd625 is the crappiest processor in SD line. How crappy? It's using A53. How crappy again? Just look at how crappy is the Mi4i.Tbh I don't really interested on zenfone 3 series since they announced their price, but I just can't wait for Redmi 4 with sd625 later lol. |

QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Aug 12 2016, 09:18 AM) To put your argument in context, I guess you are comparing it to A57 (used in SD 808 and 810, to name a few) and A72 (SD 820 anyone?), which are currently available and in use. A53 being the low-end of the three. Right? I mean, you can argue SD625 is just a dye-shrink of SD615 (and by extension, SD616 and SD617) with a newer Adreno GPU. Yeah, you put everything in context. Thanks. However, in my opinion, unless you intend to run heavy apps/games, A53s are more than capable to get you through at least for the next two years (which is roughly the time I upgrade my phone again - or maybe less). So, for a lot of people, there is no need to go higher than this to run their facebook/twitter/whatsapp and the occasional games. Unfortunately, though, the ZF3 price is too close to Mi5, which is using 4xA72. So why not get the A72 instead, right? I mean, I am very much considering the Mi5 right now - ever since Asus Malaysia confirmed their pricing anyway. |

QUOTE(wansr2 @ Aug 12 2016, 10:50 PM) i think mi5 is not 4xa72 but 4xarmv8 which same archtecture as apple a9 chip...but nonetheless sd652 great performer in battery life.. i see some of test on youtube that zenfone 3 can pull off second place after redmi note 3 which has a monster battery despite zenfone 3 having less 3000mah battery Again, Qualcomm want you to confuse. It's not SD652. It's SD625. This is because Zenfone 3 is a very slow phone compared to RN3. RN3 half price of Zenfone 3 but beat it in everything. Just show how crappy is Zenfone 3. |

QUOTE(wansr2 @ Aug 13 2016, 09:14 AM) my bad..haha..yew..if we compare to sd650, of course sd650 more raw power becoz a72 setup..yeah..your right..they should lower the price..around rm1000 and less..the thing zenfone 3 shine is in camera departmen where it uses same module as mi5.. Thats why Zenfone 3 say that it gift worth RM700. The phone worth RM700 only but sold at double the price. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Aug 15 2016, 07:19 AM) Some guys are so " intelligent" that they comment on phone performance without actually using or even seeing it. Personally I will never wish to comment on any phone performance until I had actually used it See spec already know la. Not everyone have money like you to test out all the phone.Comparing it with other similar chipset phone is simply unjustified too unless one had tested both of them This post has been edited by gogo2: Aug 15 2016, 07:29 AM |

QUOTE(ashraf095 @ Aug 15 2016, 11:34 AM) I'm agreed to uncle benny tho. Two devices with same specs doesn't mean you will have the same smooth experience. My Redmi note 3 2gb/16gb stutters much more than Redmi note 2 when switching apps although RN3 use Sd650. Turn off miui optimization and it feels better ( at least for now ). Because Redmi Note 3 ROM optimise for 3GB RAM. You bought wrong device because you don't look at spec.BTW, you can get ZE520KL @ ~Rm1170 at gemfive. QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Aug 15 2016, 11:47 AM) Zenfone 2 4GB RAM is RM879 in 11Street. Zenfone Zoom 128GB at RM1099 in 11st. I knows you not interested but its kinda tempting. lol. |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Aug 16 2016, 12:29 AM) Extreme Power Efficiency = Snap 625 due to newer 14nm fab Don't kid yourself by associating RN3 with inferior Asus Zenfone3 with its inferior cpu.Performance = Snap 650 (was known as 618) /652 (was known as 620) but "primitive" 28nm fab. . Again, always look at the "nm" fab and not the Snap 6xx numbering.... |

QUOTE(Nephrite @ Aug 18 2016, 10:30 AM) Asus this round really pump up the price. I think Asus fan is from Zenfone2 era. So Asus fanboy consist of cheap fanboy. That is why all fanboy are angry.Firstly i was hoping the Zen 3 would be RM 1199 range then the Zen 3 Ultra RM 1899 then the Zen 3 Deluxe RM 1999. Mana tau huh RM 2599 for Deluxe. Hope it drop to a reasonable price. Luckily Xiaomi still pander to cheap fanboy by releasing redmi note 3. This post has been edited by gogo2: Aug 18 2016, 11:54 AM |

QUOTE(Nephrite @ Aug 18 2016, 12:08 PM) Asus started with their league of Zen 5 and Zen 6 at RM 599 and RM 799. With that kind of money, i will just get him the Note 7. End of story. Now i am still disappointed with Zen 3 (N) why still no light on the 3 touch back home and menu button... Many of Asus feature not so premium as Samsung so they should not pump up the price. My father using Asus Zen 2 highest spec version thinking of getting him a Zen 3 but looks behind made of glass so fragile so now shift to Zen 3 Deluxe. Still waiting it to come out Z3D. If not up to my expectation i buy for my father One + 3. Thus i don`t understand why Zenfone so many bloatware since the first gen till now. |

Overall Zenfone 3 have pricing issue.
Selling RM800 at RM1300 - -Zenfone 3 with SD625 Now selling RM400 phone at RM800 - Zenfone 3 Max Without Intel subsidy, Asus is dead in the water. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 16 2016, 08:11 AM) The ZF3 ultra is indeed a very very good phablet i don't think it's rm2599 good. No one will buy it. It's sd652 for God sake. Would have gotten samsung.I am indeed very impressed with it and would like to use as my daily phone over the MiMax if not for its size. Those who look down at SD652 chipset should think twice. I would say overall is even better than the SD820 Axon 7 which I got yesterday So impressed with the ZF3ultra I had preorder too the ZF3 Deluxe which should be in my hands next week. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 16 2016, 09:06 AM) The ZF3 deluxe is SD820 ZF3Ultra is RM2599. So I am talking about that. I had used SD652 on A9pro, MiMax, ZF3ultra and must say is excellent so far Don't be biased just because it score lower benchmarks vs SD820 QUOTE(abu.shofwan @ Sep 16 2016, 09:07 AM) Actually I was wondering when you said the axon performance was beaten by zf3u. Is the sd820 in Axon actually the down clocked version (such as in mi 5 32gb)? Nope its not downclock. Its 140,000 antutu for Axon 7. Just that benny888 use it for a while and think app launch a bit slower than on Axon7, so benny888 make assumptions than ZF3Ultra better overall than Axon7. Quite misleading I would say but its his opinion so its ok.Perhaps you can confirm its frequency in Axon? |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 16 2016, 09:34 AM) It is just my initial impressions. The Axon 7 software I would say isn't as smooth and at times I do faced some micro lag.Even my other MiMax and ex A9Pro I felt is smoother than it Is it MiFavor problem or due to throttling? I have not gotten mine yet. Probably i preorder it later. Apps loading on Axon7 is slightly slower vs the ZF3Ultra and apps installation is most obvious slower too. If you don't compare most people would not notice it. Anyway I will be spending more time on the Axon7 to have a better impression Gaming ( which I don't do) I believe the SD820 should be better vs SD652 Maybe you do side by side launch app of Axon7 with ZF3Ultra to gauge. Also launch app is due to UF2.0 which both got. |
