lazada sell rm1279 for rm1499 (15% off) zf3.

so we will expect rm2209 for zf3 ultra?
with rm200 voucher will be around rm2000, but lazada has less generous voucher nowadays.
missed last year with RM250 fireworks voucher.

I didnt experience the heat in mi max.

I also experience scrolling lag with the stock music player for my music files of around 500++ songs in 2 folder view.

In the end I use Pulsar Music Player and disable the stock music player for smoother experience

I usually do not use phone while charging, installing apps and charging both get heated even it does not run together.
I found this because i do not face the heating so obvious when setting Mi Max

luckily it is metal design and it get cool down quite fast as well.

may I know what is your RAM display in setting?
it show only 3.5GB in my ultra.

Thanks for the confirmation.
It also show 3.5GB in CPU-z and CPU-X app. Seems like the system reserved ram was not visible for all.


Btw, i am able to do some one handed operation in ultra by using Pie Control. Was my favourite during note 3 with cyanogenmod

Hi all.
I just found one issue in my zenfone 3 ultra.
I am not able to make outgoing call with my celcom sim card.

However, I am able to do internet surfing, received call and receive sms.

This is cause by the setting from More > cellular network > enhanced 4G LTE mode
It is enabled by default, disable this fix my outgoing call issue.

I believe this is the voLTE, celcom do not support this yet. Just share here just in case anyone face the same issue can resolve using this method.

finally got my TPU transparent case and tempered glass for my ZF3 ultra from taobao.
No need to naked it anymore.

Overall very satisfied with the phone, I treat it as a mini tablet and used as daily driver.
The only cons I have is it is too big when put on car holder for navigation, it block quite amount of eye sight during driving.

PS: you will need special car holder which can expand width up to 105mm in order to hold the phone

About 25h usage of ZF3 ultra, the SOT i have is only 6h13m, I do not game.

High usage on Android System & Android OS.
Any Idea what is the cause?

Zenfone 3 ultra here and didnt experience the camera issue

After 1 month usage on my zenfone 3 ultra.
I feel that the black border on the screen is quite thick.
2mm width. If thwy can make it smaller the phone will be more compact

Do you know how they resolve it?

btw, anyone experience scrolling lag on the Asus default music app? I have 600 songs and the scrolling across the list will freeze the UI and force close. So I end out using other music player from App store. Send the feedback to Asus via the app and they are looking on it but dunno when will get that fixed

All the zenfone 3 series get 7.0 except zenfone 3 ultra.

Maybe due low lower market share?
