taking the plunge from note 7 to asus zenfone 3 deluxe sd821. hopefully it'll last for a year till the n8 comes out.

just got the ZF3 SD821 and it isnt impressive.
day 1 :
Pros:
- fast (obviously since its 821 and 6GB)
- audio is good
- big storage
- bluetooth was fast in detecting wireless devices
- charges pretty fast

CONS:
- camera app kept on crashing and i could only use it once i restarted the phone
- low light is erm, 'meh'
- camera picture quality is not as i expected (note 7 was waaaaay better)
- battery life is average
- fingerprint sensor isn't very responsive
- had a lot of difficulty detecting my SD card (using SanDisk 200GB card)
- NFC has trouble detecting devices

Fark la. Woke up this morning with my zenfone 3 deluxe fucking hot and useless. Screen won't switch on. Can't power down. Samsung, why did u have to fuck up the note 7. FML

I'm sending it back since it's still under warranty. N no, I didn't leave it connected to the power outlet.

man, i sent my asus zs570kl for repairs on 19/11 for a cracked screen and i'm still waiting. lesson learnt, not to buy another asus phone. ever.

replacement coming in on 18/12 after i paid for the replacement on the 21/11. so damn bloody slow.

got the phone back a week ago. so far so good. this phone have to jaga kow kow. it's a pity there's no otterbox cover for this phone. it severely needs one.

sent it to digital mall. somehow i feel it has nothing t do with the local repair services. it's the stupid taiwan HQ which decides for slow-mo mail delivery of the parts.

just got the 7.0 update up and running. looks like the zs570KL runs much more smoothly after the update.
