Just sharing. after the KODI programmer removed zeroconf from KODI krypton, I have been looking for a replacement remote app for the new KODI version. finally I have found one that is working.

Just look for the app name Official KODI remote from app store. Is free but you have to key in the IP address, port no & mac address manually.

Quasar and it seems Magnetic Torrent are crashing my Kodi. I never had the chance to uninstall the add on and app straight exits.

After numerous tries, managed to disable Magnetic Torrent. Finally OK now.

Been mentioned earlier.. Completely uninstall previous providers, managers and unofficial repository.. What you need to run Quasar now is the Official repo, Quasar addon and Quasar burst addon. Having older stuff installed will only mess with its performance.

Will uninstall it after my dramas.

kodi17... i have just a few apps but incl sanctuary, merlin, quasar, phoenix, exodus.

after a few weeks, it chalked up a total of 1.26gb.

i went into the files and remove the "thumbnails" in one of the user data files... that was 700mb.

saved a lot of space.

dunno if it will grow again...

It'll grow again.. Especially if you have a "stocked" library (immediately on next launch) and or browse several titles in addons..

it will regenerate back.. the best way is move the kodi_data to external..

i will remove a couple of heavyweight addons, will be less in the end.

i use quasar mostly.
