u can try as many as u like but u will likely find:

.. the stable streams are in SD.
.. HD, good sometimes.. some times 1 min, sometimes 1hr, some times 1 week... then they die off, maybe recover in a week, a month...
.. to get good stable HD live streams, u gotta get a paid VPN meant for kodi - some kodi addon sites advertise them.

Castaway or zem tv

the best so far i thing is NJM Soccer.. follow by Pro Sport (Reddit soccer stream) and adrian tv/adrian sport. but of coz you need to configure acestream/plexus.. sportsdevil/castaway is last resort (horrible pic and sometime alien language but there are good for sd quality).

reliable? well you can watch decent quality (upto 1080p).. but sometime the stream stop itself especially near the end of game.. but it is free, you can restart it back. never miss any match so far, the addon is enough for me which is why i'm not subscribing any paid service..

IKR, read that their cops go around arresting box sellers with pre-installed ehem apps/kodi setup.. Luckily, this is bolehland... For now.

yeah.the law is strict there since the cable tv keep pressurize the enforcement unit..for movie or tv show probably ok.. but since live sport also affected it become more serious issue. here in bolehland, astro not even bother as they will keep gating profit and can increase price anytime they want..

i'm running Kodi v17 on MiBox 3S, 2GB of RAM. whenever I stream sports (whether live or replay) using Zem/SportsDevil/Phoenix, it just lags & buffer so much, till the point not possible to watch.
But when I stream HK drama via ICDrama, or english movies via Exodus/Specto, it's fine. Though it lags at times when using Exodus/Specto. but it's very smooth via ICDrama.

Using UniFi 30Mbps, TPLINK WR841HP router, which sits right next to MiBox

reliable free hd live sports are hard to get with kodi.

Can't seem to get quasar set download path to usb stick to stream . It will buffer then tries to play then nothing happen , set to internal storage is fine .

Hardware :
Minix u1 + 32gb Sandisk ultra

Formatted as say NTFS? Not FAT32.. Perhaps the USB drive is incompatible or too slow.. Try another. However, using the internal drive is still the best as it can handle fast read and write speeds required to store, buffer, play and maintain p2p connections, all at the same time.

Nothing wrong with your box or unifi. Free sport/live streaming especially in HD tends to buffer a lot. Most probably server overload or lack of maintenance from the owner.

I use external HD usb3.0, fast and no buffer.

Yup NJM is the one, but recently I tried Adrian, it streams EPL HD without a fuss!

Not sure whether it's because I'm using vpn getflix (don't know if this is suitable for Kodi anyway). I use it mainly for Netflix & watching live UK tv.

those sports channels that I'e tried to watch, most of them are in SD, but still it just buffers non-stop. at times, that happens to Exodus/Specto as well, really no solution?
I've set-up Getflix SmartDNS on router, nvr set-up VPN though.

I've a free RealDebrid account, and when I use it for Exodus, when it loads the sources for movies/dramas, it just takes so long..keep on loading & loading, any solution?
