Becos i would think such big files will need good speed and higher versions to work to deliver to the 4ktv.

Unless they are compresed to like 10gb or so which will not be good.

Mine was 16.1 Jarvis and it works. Fortunately, it works.

dear sifu..im newbie to kodi...just learned how to setup kodi on my pc yesterday..i've setup exodus and had no problem watching videos from there, however, when i setup NJM soccer, i can't seems to watch any sports matches, nothing happened when i tried clicking on the channel...also, below the channel, there are no display of current sport matches etc...

what went wrong?

another great source beside sanctuary is Real-movie addon.. this addon only have HD quality, 4k dan 3D movie.. no cam or sd.. and 1-klik source sumore.. make life really easy

U can use quasar and set for 4k resolution only.. plenty of 5 channel . They are also few more addon im currently trying for 4k.. will let you know the best result

Looks like yr 50mbps works well for 4k.

For me, 30mbps, Realmovies 4k is about the same as silent hunter 4k and pyramid 4k.

Some good, others still buffer bad.

For android TV, to get proper 5.1 (DD/DTS) to stream from HD sources, can I stick to Kodi, or better to install SPMC?

Coz If Kodi can do the job, i'll just stick to Kodi. A bit malas to install newer stuff now...

those used to dd/dts5.1 with kodi streams should stick to 16.1 for now.

I saw Google Play update to prompt me about Kodi update to Krypton. Should I? I only want to watch TVB most of the time.

tested enough on 3 devices...

quasar 9.69 is not so good on kodi 16.1, android 4.4.2 - too slow, "warm up" waiting time, hiccups with quasar burst.

much smoother with 17.0, android 5.1 or 7.0 which should be the case.

Mind sharing the minimum android box spec for the best kodi experience? Do I really need latest box with chipset like Amlogic S912 + 3GB ram? My kodi usage only 720p and 1080p source only. No need for 4k. I dont want to spend extra money for features I dont use. My budget around RM250 only. thanks in advance

kodi is tired of accomodating those devices do not comply; they need to deal with it on their own, thru their firmware.
