I just updated my p990i via SEUS. Mine is Singapore set. The new firmware has much better memory management. To those P990i Singapore set owners, pls update your phones ASAP.

to those new Windows Vista users out there. if u face any problem with syn and link ya phone with ya windows vista operating system. please be patient that we are getting close to resolve the issue windows vista can detect your phone but can syn or do files transfer.

currently P900i been tested and working fine with windows vista. will get more test for others model once i have a chances.

once there's a solution. i will keep this inform to SE Malaysia customer services. and they will pass it down to the rest of the service center.

and i am looking for live user which have windows vista and symbian UIQ. do PM me if u cant connect.

yeah. looking on it now since some user complain they cant syn. and manage to solved 1 with windows vista home basic and P900 contact syn.

i am not from microsoft. so i guess we keep it to SE first. if we manage to solve all problem SE faced with Windows vista then only we move out and help the rest... that's a better deal right?

Those who have the hpm-82, have you tried it with your m600 with the world 1 generic firmware (cda/1)?

Well,only the forward and rewind button can be used. the play/pause button and volume buttons can't be used.

But when i press the next track button,it will go to the previous song and when i press the previous track button,it will go to the next song.

I've tried it on the K610,K750 and Z610. It works well with those phones. But on the Z610,the previous/next button problem is there.

I have emailed to SE Malaysia regarding HPM-82 b'coz they officially listed M600i as a supported model in their website, dunno why the buttons didn't work for your phone. Well, it works with P990i, K610i, K618i and K800i as I've these phones at home. Hopefully, I'll get an answer from them.

Anyone facing problems with the alarm on the p990?

After updating the firmware, the alarm does not seem to go off.

No such problem for me. Which version are you using?

Did you snooze or completely dismiss the alarm?

The only thing I hate about P990i is the alarm, it's really soft and unlike my Nokia, it could wake everyone up. That's why I never used it as an alarm. My alarm doesn't go off but sometimes when I select a particular ringtone as my alarm, the selected ringtone didn't work, but instead it played the default ringtone. Very weird but it doesn't happen all the time, once in a while.

I just realized that the alarm on my P990i has problem also. It is loud for the first alarm tone but becomes softer when the alarm tone rings for the subsequent time. Previously i had no such problem. It only occurs after i have updated the firmware.
