Hi guys, now i'm stuck, i dont know how to play movie/mtv files using my p990i, can anyone help me on this, new use, thanks guys
*
It is depend of the format of the video clip, please make sure the format is support to play in your P990i.

Lastly, I would like to say that I am so happy that I have a pdf is about 10MB big and when I save into my N95 and it can't open a big file but my P990i is different matter....str8 can see the file without installing new software into the phone... rclxm9.gif

Hi Guys, i am planning to get a P990i, just wanna clarify a few things before i made the decision firstly do P990i support the following :

- Task,appointment,to-do's,to-call management ?
- If yes, does it show in the main screen like WM based PDA ?
- Sync with MS outlook for calendar events and MS Outlook Contacts

1. Yeah it supports Task, Appointments. Not sure what you meant by to-call management, but to-do = tasks. smile.gif

2. No it doesn't. Only the W950i and M600i supports this feature by default.

3. Shouldn't be any problem, though I haven't tried that myself.

I beg to differ.

As far as I know, the original units of P990i is still at its prime pricing at about RM23xx to  RM28xx.

AP pricing are not up to SE's jurisdiction, so I don't think it's right to judge how SE is positioning the P990i based on its AP's pricing.

agreed... nod.gif

Well... i dunno... 2MP cam... might be better to be at least 3.2MP judging by the looks of its competition (i.e. N95, O2 zinc, etc... ) and wifi type "b" instead of wifi type "g" which are found in more recently released models.
But frakly speaking... for the features it can offer, its really worth every penny especially at the AP price currently being offered rclxms.gif
Kinda bored with my N70. Eyeing the P990i and the N95 in particular. But look at the price difference!!!!! sweat.gif
Just keeps me wondering if the audio output is good enough to sattisfy the average teenager. Noob audio junkie here. And is it possible to use the audio adapter as found bundled with walkman phones on the P990? Wanna use my original sony cans if possible cool.gif

1) A 2mp camera is justifiable as this is a business phone.

2) Its competitor is NOT the Nokia N95. The Nokia N95 is a multimedia phone, this is a business PDA phone.

3) Type "'b" or "g" does not play a crucial role, as it is always the signal that is the most important factor to obtain good wireless connections.

4) Yes you can, I can use my W850's headphones with my P990i and M600i. You just need the adaptor.

1)First of all, if you were comparing N70's 2mp to P990's, don't!! 3.2mp would seriously be better but I'm already very satisfied with my 2mp except it doesn't have xenon flash!!

2)You're right!! 802.11g would help secure faster connection but 802.11b is sufficient to surf at a very decent pace. I can load this forum with my opera mini in 15-20 seconds or less. My MSN on AgileMessenger only suffers a 2-3 seconds lag!!

3)You can buy the RM10-15 audio adapter or buy the HPM-70/82 in-ear headsets!! I am using HPM-82 meaning with my media player activated and keypad locked, I control my phone from the multimedia control on the headset without taking my phone out of my pocket. Moreover, with the new R9F firmware, ringtone and music playback via the phone's speaker is much louder.
