clear data & force stop for all 3 apps just in case.

Make sure connect to USA. Mine working perfectly by using VPN1Click or SecureVPN.

Make sure cleat both below. Connect to VPN then just open the themes store.

I still feel that its easier to take good pictures with my 6S+. The point and shoot type of situation though the S7 Edge produce better quality pictures but only noticeble when u open it on PC.

My S7 Edge hang last night with only facebook apps running....the display is on, but all other functions freezes, touch screen, all buttons, all cannot use, tried to call the number straight goes into message

Battery status at 41%, so decided to leave it untill battery drained off, however after like 90 minutes, it came back to life with battery status 33%

I switched it off and charge the battery to full, this morning seem fine....

Anyone experience this?

this is for the s7e. if you go on to XDA and see comments and reviews about glass SP. none of them are really good for the S7E atm

You never hold long enough. How the phone hang also can restart it unless the device already malfunction.

If you not under APD1, update it to eliminate the hanging issue.

I don't have issue using this trick in 3 Samsung phone that support themes. This includes Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note5 and also Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Finally!! I managed to access USA Themes page....

I'm using tunnelbear (VPN) AND reinsert SIM tray without sim....but than, I received this error when I click the price button....

Are you on the latest software update? That will eliminate a lot of hang n reboot issue.

Also, keep the fb up to date too. Fb tend to act weird if you do not update for a long time.

no XME fw avail atm. closest u can get it thailand (THL) fw which avail @ vietnam samsung forum site. the csc not XME but at least this is the latest fw (APD1) avail atm for same region & best for modem radio fw n config. only csc slight diff.

TBH i doubt the glass can get scratches so easily. Its usually the oleo-phobic coating on top of the glass that can get scratch easily. But as the coating and glass is seen as one so basically, the screen looks like it have fine scratches... unsure.gif

I do have the TPU SP for the S7 Edge if you are interested biggrin.gif
Duraflex TPU SP, comes in 2 pack, the curved edges fit nicely and does not bubble up

Help, my s7 edge completely non responsive now. After I woke up, saw the phone led blinking blue.

But pressing power or home button doesn't wake up the phone. I plug in the charger, after 20min also don't feel the phone warm up like it shld be when charging.

UPDATE:
never-ending. Did a volume down + home + power button reboot. All is well.

can't decide between gold or silver. Anyone purchased silver/gold want to go another color or vice versa?

Read some reviews and get to know that the fingerprint is not always on and no doubletap to wake... Any app/workaround on this 2 features?

is it possible like we use different charger like 3.1A and 3A to charge our phone?

or 2.1A (5.3V) original and we use 2.0A (5V) only to charge our phone?

will damage the battery gradually?

in know that someone mentioned about the ad blocker without have to root the phone in the previous thread. Can someone advise the app and the method to do that?

I need the blocker to block all ads from every apps and not only browser ads.
Something like adaway (for rooted phone)

this is my personal opinion so pls don kill me if its different from yours:

the only thing that hurts battery lifespan the most is the heat.

doesn't matter what your charger can supply, the device will only take what it needs(or the charger's max if the charger cant supply required power to the phone) (unless samsung R&D sucks at their power circuitry design, then that's out of our hand)

Don't worry too much about that, the phone is smart enough to regulate the current to the battery.

The only thing you need to concern is the charging cycle. It hurts the battery health significantly.

Colour Is personal preference. But silver is one sexy phone!

What do you mean by fingerprint is not always on? You have to press on the home button and wake the phone then it will be turned on.

No double tap to wake feature as of now

unfortunately there is no official md5 or OTA package available for XME fw.
i dont think ppl here will save the OTA package before updating it. Nexus user has OTA collection library for this purpose.

flashfire concept very straight fwd. what it does is temporarily restoring stock recovery then flashing the OTA package. then it re-root & restore current custom recovery. all this can be done thru the app itself.

That one is not always on fingerprint. That is a capacitive button. So it is a hardware that allows it. Only USA variant is using the snapdragon 820

Thanks for the info, actually prefer the fingerprint like mate 8 which does not need to press home key...

Since the screen is gorilla glass, need not put screen protector right? Any included free tpu in ori unit?

Removed the screen protector, feel relieve to my eyes.. what a sucker screen protecter, lifted ad the edges and display looks much better without it. Now again need to take extreme care of the screen without sp

I found there is bluish colour at the edge of the screen when in white background while looking at front screen. It's seems like reflection... is it normal?

dbrand has rough edges bcos it quite thick. the glue is strong & good tho. removed it less than an hour. clear-coat + thin casing (ringke slim) still the best for protection while maintaining s7e sexiness.

Hi guys... Just to update regarding my phone. Sent it in as initially there were purple lines on the screen, then the screen went dead totally. I ranted quite a bit as they were saying it's my fault for leaving the phone charged overnight.

So have picked up the phone today, no drama whatsoever. Screen was changed under warranty.

For those who say that heat buildup might have caused the issue, page 11 of the manual even reassures that the phone will disconnect if the battery heats up during charging. So yeah, in the end might just be my luck getting a dud unit.

Any of you guys using Clear Coat Screen protector with Spigen Rugged Armor case? Cause I've been using Ultimate Shield and it's still coming up on the sides when I put on my rugged armor case.

I'm going over to KL in a few days and I'm thinking whether it's worth it to go all the way to Pavilion and spend almost 200 bucks on a screen protector. Would appreciate any pictures of the Clear Coat with casings on.

Wow nice! How much for the ringke slim? It doesn't lift the screen protector at all? What I'm worried is with a slim case it won't have any drop protection. I've used the Rugged Series from Spigen for my previous phones and really didn't do any damage when dropped.

i bought the case RM50 only frm forumer here. ringke slim/fusion shud be same price ard RM70 iirc.
ringke has perfect precise cut covering along the frame. it wont touch the sp. this slim case at least not fingerprint magnet compared to fusion. never drop my phone. almost drop many times but the strap is true savior biggrin.gif

Ah alright. Sounds good! Might just go with your set up then. Honestly I've spent more on screen protectors for this phone than I have with all of my previous phones combined. Nevertheless still an awesome phone.

Yes that's the name. Its a new game. The graphics are console quality graphics.

Btw, I'm having some problem with the WiFi. I'm on holiday in Cameron Highlands. Staying in a hotel with free WiFi, my gf's note 4 is able to connect to the Internet no problem. I'm having trouble even to find the network. Anyone has a solution to this?

A is Lumia (the color tell me this is Lumia which over yellowish)
B is S7 Edge (the best night shoot, which I guess not possible is iPhone 6s anymore)
C is HTC 10 (It looks to me is HTC 10)
D is P9 (My guess)
E is iPhone 6s (I want to hope this is S7 Edge but E night shoot is not that great and don't feel like B is iPhone 6s)
F is G5 (Certain photos tell me this is G5)
G is Nexus 6P (it is much darker, looks to me is 6P)

Actually they is a prompt in phone, did you click allow? Another thing is I never ever restore backup when switch to new phone, the backup from Android often generate bugs thus I never use it in any phone already.

it's just the look.. nothing difference and the edge thingy isn't that useful anyway.

MP not means everything, bigger megapixel never always means better.

if you're getting a case anyway, then S7e should be ok..
if you intend to use it naked, then you would have a problem especially during 1-handed operation.

To be honest, I dont feel the S7 Edge's camera has any improvements over the S6 Edge's. But that is just me.

Go play both phone and decide. Both phone camera is great and Note5 had less sharpening issue but of course S7 Edge camera is crazy fast in focus and capture.

By the mean time, Note6 is coming soon.

Guys, my sp peeled off dy causing my eyes to sore. I change phone case too frequent, lol. Just now went to pavilion, saw the clear coat store. Is it any good? Since its a lifetime guarantee replacement, for s7 edge i think thats good? in my case cos i like to change phone case.

i got my eyes on IQ shield for awhile but dont want to bear the shipping price.

You shall turn off the phone before remove the sim tray for safety condition.

As for the every restart mention SDcard is Android 6.0 stupid feature.

Another difference between the normal s7 and the edge version is the battery size and this is quite a big difference between the two. You should watch reviews on YouTube and decide yourself.

Just got myself a Ringke Slim..... Holding it the first time I was like... WTF!! So thin.... Now I have 2nd thoughts on getting rid of this S7e LOL. I guess cases do make a difference. I always prefer naked or just those cheapo silicone... But this, it's on a different level....

its fake alert frm malware/scam website. usually when u open free file hosting for warez,etc. firefox + uBlock plugin will prevent this. (or adguard premium with correct settings & configs)

Since I've taken some flak on the previous thread regarding my statement above... I figure that some elaboration and update is warranted.

I was travelling last week using the phone quite extensively as both gps, surfing for info, translate and camera (shot 10GB worth of photos and clips) and the problem keep popping up often enough to be worrisome as I was relying on the phone for everything.

Oh.. there's also the issue of google maps location being quite inaccurate showing my location popping from one place to another place. My wife's ip6+ didn't have that issue and my M9 used during the last trip didn't have such issues too.

Strange enough, it was spot on accurate when I wasn't travelling.

Anyhow, it got annoying enough that I updated the firmware (something I wouldn't do otherwise when travel) and the problem went away. Well... except the google maps location thing... that still got all over the place.

Just update it, update resolved most issue not generate more issue. I dunno where you read latest firmware generate a lot issue, it fixing nearly all the issue not generate more.

Strange enough, it was spot on accurate when I wasn't travelling.

Anyhow, it got annoying enough that I updated the firmware (something I wouldn't do otherwise when travel) and the problem went away. Well... except the google maps location thing... that still got all over the place.

Probably you long never use or 1st time using Samsung, Samsung always rush out their product and initial firmware often got issue. After 1 or 2 updates all problem will gone.

Congratulate most your problem is fixed. For that inaccurate location issue, the Google Maps kind of suck actually especially recently. I threat that is Google Map issue.

Yeah its my first samsung. And i thought htc first firmware was bad.

As for google map, its strange cos my wife also using google maps on ios with no problem. And i have no problems with it in Taipei.

Why you don't want to update? Does't make sense at all, you no need PC to update, it is all OTA and OTA file size is small. PC normally will be full ROM download.

What I mean is I don't have problem locating it but I do have problem getting a correct place, Google Map often give me some place I don't want.

HTC 1st firmware for me is kind of ok, I mean in M8 as that the only HTC I used before.

Yes.

I've only encountered the issue when I was in Tokyo last week.

At first I thought it could be interference or something but same thing happens in the countryside (Hakone).

Sometimes it shows my correct location and suddenly jumps showing my location one street away. Sometimes even back and forth.

I actually face this in my working place before few times for my S6 Edge, Note5 and S7 Edge. It show I at Italy or some others Europe country! but I actually at Malaysia! I know this as my weather widget auto detect my location incorrectly. I not making the story, it really happen!

Now I think back it seems I didn't face this issue when I was using One M8, Nexus 6 and G4. hmm...

I always immediately update all my phones to latest firmware once is available. For some I even flash foreign country versions if is available earlier
I don't have worries about any issues
Just downgrade back if one doesn't like it
Most comments on updates are often mixed n I only trust my own assessment

After update, this hp just turn to nearly perfect.

Same here. Seems not able to charge the watch. Be careful though... the watch power adaptor rates at .7amp instead of 2 amp or more.

It is not corrupted.it just tell you that sdcard is insert. You want to view the content or format it or not. The format it or not info is really silly. The sdcard is not corrupt. Just swipe and ignore that message.

Urs is tempered glass with surface so it has double sided tape on top & bottom to secure tempered glass. The same u can found in Taobao. So far no best solution of tempered glass on S7 Edge as I can seen... That's why S7 Edge is the only phone of mine without protection on screen.

Yesterday i went to coat my phone (3rd time since i got it) so i tok kok with some shop fellas in taipei. Apparently that glass protector got new version that is supposed to improve touch sensitivity. The first version that i tried on another customer phone was atrocious.

That and it traps water between the display and protector if u get ur phone wet

Sadly, i don't see Ringke provide us a template for s7 edge, so what i did was using the hard paper given in the package to put on screen, adjusting the desired image size to match the paper size.

yes. u need to stick smth. use DIY wallpaper at back. better change to ringke slim. better with no fingerprints mess & flaps.

Hi! I had the same issue! Can look up my rant on page 100 in V5 of this discussion. The screen eventually died on me. Had it sent in, screen was replaced under warranty.

Protip as advised by others: just play dumb and say it just happened by itself... if not they'll try to blame you!

yaya experience this as well, i did applied the back sp from ultimateshield and i thought it was caused by it. apparently no.

One thing for sure, the S7 Edge wont be cloned (period) because its to costly to manufacture the curved screen.

Agree! Edge edition just way too expensive to clone now.

The fake one is actually quite obvious. The craft is not that smooth, the screen is not that near to edge and also not that stick to glass.

I can only said this is A quality clone not yet AA quality.
