Hi guys... Just to update regarding my phone. Sent it in as initially there were purple lines on the screen, then the screen went dead totally. I ranted quite a bit as they were saying it's my fault for leaving the phone charged overnight.

So have picked up the phone today, no drama whatsoever. Screen was changed under warranty.

For those who say that heat buildup might have caused the issue, page 11 of the manual even reassures that the phone will disconnect if the battery heats up during charging. So yeah, in the end might just be my luck getting a dud unit.

Hi! I had the same issue! Can look up my rant on page 100 in V5 of this discussion. The screen eventually died on me. Had it sent in, screen was replaced under warranty.

Protip as advised by others: just play dumb and say it just happened by itself... if not they'll try to blame you!

Was not offered the Galaxy Butler service even though I called the S7e hotline. And personally maybe even better if send in the phone yourself as then can show what's wrong directly to the SC personnel

Yeah they'll change the screen under warranty. Seems like a few people (including me) had this issue.

When I sent in my phone for repairs there already was a small scratch at one of the edges. Which wasn't there anymore when they returned it after replacing the screen. Haven't got around to checking the IMEI yet though to see if it's a new set, but I don't think so it's a new one as they had some plastic film on it (like those spare part plastic lining)

Checked the current IMEI and compared it to the one printed on the order form. They're the same. Maybe they changed the display and casing but motherboard still the same?
