hmmm...having problem here...
got a Compaq Presario V3521TU,Free-Dos...
tried to install WinXP in it...but the systems can't detect the hardisk/driver...so can't install WinXP...
anyone faced this kind of problems?...

Anyone using Vista with Go 6150? Why is it my score is 2.4, it should be 3.0 right?

Change the amount of dedicated RAM to GF6150 for your notebook.

I've changed to 128MB, but eventhough after updating the score, no difference except for the RAM score. Gaming graphic still 2.4 and the best part is, Aero is now 4.7

it not smooth? How come.. Do u know transformer? Im using AMD+nvidia which its laggy if compare with C2D.

corect.send there twice oledy.waranty claims only available for hardwares.normaly the batt, motherboard, cable, socket...bla bla bla..everything hardware consist.bios is under software.if u cant boot the bios properly, reboot it..if ur bios kills ur motherboard, then send over to the centre and claim for motherboard exchange due to low quality motherboard since u use it properly and it dies like that..
there are many explaination y u cant boot windows and u beter find it out.im not sure of that prob ur facing.mayb the setting..

you will need a external floppy drive and when download the sata driver from the hp website...,.the instructions will be there

I dont think you need to do this, just go into bios and disable something called "Native Sata", please correct me if im wrong.

You right, but since the hard disc does support sata, its better download the driver and install it

Using v3250au.. About the directX problem always occur almost once a day.. each time when run Warcraft it sure said No directX and i uninstall the display driver and install it back. But today duno what was happen.. i need uninstalled together with the chipset driver then only fixed.. i hate it..

After try n error i manage 2 enable sound driver for my 3415au.. But still not settle all prob..

1. In system prop my proc speed keep showing incorrect value..Either 795mhz or 1.61ghz instead of 1.81ghz b4..For proc driver i've installed
-ms dual core hotfix kb896256
-amd proc update for xp
-amd turion 64 x2 dual core for xp
amd dual core optimizer for xp

2. Got 2 uninstalled device in device mngr..
-network controller
-unknown device

3. Is nforce network something like that is compulsorry 2 install?What will be the effect if that component is not installed?

4. Ive installed broadcom driver + w'less asst. But the wlan n bt is still disabled..Which driver i need to install?

5. Does the mem for nvdid go 6150 is shared with ram?What is the purpose of allocate dedicated mem for graphic/vga in bios?

I hope someone can help n enlighten me..Thx in advance..

yups...found the solutions already...
but the problem is the external floppy drive part...as i didn't have it...
is there any other ways to solve it?...apart from using external floopy...

i got prob here...i had changed my v3010 mobo twice...so i think this is becos maybe my ram prob...currently i'm using 512 samsung 553 + 512mhz apacer 553mhz...so i'm thinking to upgrade to 1gig + 1 gig 667 mhz...so i'm thinking of corsair or mushkin...or should i just bought from forumer here kingston which is much cheaper???plez help me i'm sick of send the lappie to hp tower

Added on August 10, 2007, 12:20 pmcompaq lappie are choosie with ram brands.so try ask for the corect brands b4 u put it in so that it wont cause hardware failure later.cheap rams don mean lousy or pirated.shud be the product cost is low so sellng cheap.
