This is software problem not hardware problem. Software problem will cause because of the 3rd party software that u installed.

well the power settings can be adjusted at the advance option in the screensaver window

i need some help here.. i wanna downgrade to XP Sp2 from vista. my problem now sometime my labtop can read the this and sometime it cant. anyone here can help me? URGENT!! im using compaq V3202TU.

my v3010 fixed. nice service from hp compaq. i have total care with onsite support. they came after 1 day i called and done their job in less than an hour. the engineer replaced my motherboard with the new 1. but the new 1 model is dv2000, not v3000. but no problem with that.
i asked the engineer about upgrade the notebook and he said upgrade ram and hdd will not void the warranty.

i did update it to f.26 man, cant change the sets. any ideas?

hurm..today..suddenly my v3514tu doesnt have any sound[ironically my quicklaunch dvd play button is workin] before that its not...

Hi,

I am using HP Presario V3250 notebook. I connected the notebook to the projector and I can see dual screen in my notebook and projector screen.

But when I play windows media player movie or using real player, the movie could not be shown in the projector screen, only can see from my notebook.

In the projector, you can see only the windows media player bolder but you can't see the movie is running.

I tried to change the display setting and when it changed to the projector, you can see the movie shown in the screen but not in my notebook.

That mean you can only see either one place i.e. either in projector but not in notebook or in notebook but not in projector.

How to set it so that the movie could be shown in two screens i.e. my notebook and projector?

I am wondering whether it is due to my display driver as I am using modifed version (nvodngov29792)

argh, i dare not to unplug my RAM, i scare i will spoil the RAM,

they already chnged the mobo but i dont think the compaq presario
i got mobo for pavilion i think
but the speaker they said they already fixed it but i realise still sucks (onli right speaker is functioning) when at home .
damn . i should test it right away after i got the laptop
be4 that went to lowyat . upgrade to 2 gig . 1 + 1 mushkin ddr2 667 mhz n now running it dual channel .. no issue .. -really pays off for my 2 hours searching the cheapest ram other than kingston

Seem u having same problem as mine....I had my laptop send back to HP for checking and they say all the hardware are no problem (all pass the diagnosis test)...but next day when i use it the BSOD come out again.... ... maybe will need to take back to HP again, but after I finish my final year project..(all my final year system are inside this laptop, hope nothing happen..)

unplug the ORIGINAL RAM will SPOILT the warranty, but if u ADD another new module will NOT...

it seems that my clock speed wont reduce even I set to maximize battery, any idea?
because if I use battery and my laptop still run on 1.6ghz, the battery only can last 2hours +-
I hope if like my clock speed lower down and can last me about 3hours perhaps? since I only use to surf Internet when I on battery mode, so I dont think I need the maximum clock speed.

vista has build in so called power now. Try different setting on your power option and it will lower the cpu speed accordingly.

yes .. tht is the warranty policy ... dont remove any original parts from the inside ^ ^
