bought it since august . love my pv3010 .
rite now ... DAMN !!! battery low already ..
when 1st bought it , normally can get 1 n a half hours using wifi n surf net but now onli 1hour 10 minutes +- ..
anybody here had bought the battery ?
and now having prob with my altec lancing .. the left speaker is surely gives my ear some NOISE and alwayz must ketuk2x to hear the sound . if not then onli can hear the right speaker ..
can claim under warranty rite if the speaker is rosak ?

it freezes up .. the screen still show my windows but al is stuck . tried to force shut down . and switch on back .. can on but donteven boot the bios .. heh

ask for replacement battery .. change the altec langsing speaker (left) .

and I HAVE SO MUCH PROBLEM with the temprature . since i'm using amd .. the left speaker will be sound like masuk air if the temperature is hot (even using notebook cooler .. )

it'z been a while since i read this thread .. after reading several posting back . I got no problems with wifi what so ever (still cannot configure the broadcom wifi for fedora .. heh )

the major problem for this lappy is the temperature .. the design for the air cooling is suck ..they put the fan below ..how come to make sure air flow go outside the pc ?
at least acer lappy make their air flow got out from left and behind ..

how about u guys who r using intel proc ? does your left speaker really HOT enough after u run it for 15 minutes ?

of course the design is same .. but intel proc seems to generate less heat than amd ..
just want to know how u r feeling

already received my laptop from HP centre .
they already chnged the mobo but i dont think the compaq presario
i got mobo for pavilion i think
but the speaker they said they already fixed it but i realise still sucks (onli right speaker is functioning) when at home .
damn . i should test it right away after i got the laptop
be4 that went to lowyat . upgrade to 2 gig . 1 + 1 mushkin ddr2 667 mhz n now running it dual channel .. no issue .. -really pays off for my 2 hours searching the cheapest ram other than kingston

at CYCOM . RM145 each ..
most of the shops sell kingston and even if they sell mushkin .. mostly rm150 -rm155 .

I'm using compaq presario v3010
ive been to kota damansara service centre for 4 times already

1. change speaker
2. again . change speaker .. due to cpu heat .. left speaker will 1st die .. then the right speaker next ..

3. changing my mobo , gc (change to HP Pavilion dv2000 spec ) and the heat is quite low .. but still hot !!!!

4. changing my speaker

and now .. my speaker rosak again .. my touchpad right click is insensitive .. my dvd rom cant read and burn cd / dvd ..

and everytime i went there .. always complaining the battery and get the new one ..

so .. anybody can beat my record ?

Nope .. me using the 1 year warranty ..
less than 1 year .. i got those probs
only do some programming .. play dota ..that's all

if ur warranty expired .. whatever damage u face .. u must pay for it ..
I have to extend for another one year .. rugi giler x extend 3 years package after i bought this lappy ..

btw i using notepal cooler pad .. it really helps the temperature .. but still panas .. at least before i use the cooler .. every 2 months the speaker rosak .. now after tukar mobo and using the cooler .. 6 months usage baru speaker dh bunyi mcm air masuk ..

my fren yang beli Intel processor so far til now ok .. he only have problem with speaker once .. til now still ok ..
