What is the model of the V3000 that costs RM1799, as shown in the print ads? I'm using this one but forgot the model number already!

Hi all,
Just bought a Compaq V3314 with Window Vista Home Basic installed. Feel that it's pretty slow. Should I upgrade the RAM? What's the minimum requirement to run Vista Home Basic? Thanks.. |

(OT a bit ya) Speaking of Vista, I heard that there may be compatibility issues when installing the drivers for certain peripherals... Is it true?

Eh guys, my manager got this Compaq Presario V3307TU notebook (Intel Core Duo + 1.5GB RAM + Windows XP Pro SP2) and after install all the necessary drivers to Windows, I still can see some of the stuff that is missing in Device Manager but has no idea at all what is the hardware about.
![]() And why is the Intel GMA 950 Video show 32MB only in the Display Properties? But in the BIOS it show 128MB? What is wrong? Or is it automatic/dynamically adjust by Windows? Any pro can help? |

I guess Intel will assign the video memory automatically to the application it will run ... but my colleague who is using Vista .. it shows 64mb for video memory try to run DxDiag ... you'll noticed the AGP Texture Accelerator is 'not available' under Windows XP .. but in Vista .. its Enabled. |
