Not sure but term and condition state installment is excluded. hmm.gif

Read:

(iii)
The following amounts incurred through the use of an OCBC Bank credit card are excluded from computation of retail
transaction amount:
(a) credit card fees and charges (e.g. annual fees, finance and late payment charges, etc.);
(b) balance transfer;
© amounts converted to Installment Payment Plan or other similar plans;
(d) retail transaction amounts which are subsequently cancelled, voided or reversed within the same calendar
month; and
(e) such other amounts notified by OCBC Bank from time to time.

I seee, thanks
If I call the bank and cancel the auto IPP which means I pay rm600 in full for that month, will it be considered as hitting the RM500 spending pillar?

Is better to call bank to confirm for cancellation part. Spend RM600 by credit card is consider as RM500 spend condition.

This morning received a call from this number +80394195290 (Scam!!!) claiming that my OCBC credit card is swiped at Maybank ATM for RM7000 bla bla bla... He was able to give my full name and read out the IC numbers correctly.

My instinct tell me its a scam and I did not provide any additional information to him and I hand up after a while.

Please be careful not to give out information even if they can speak out your personal information. Double confirm with bank and the banker told me that several cases reported got unauthorized tranx on other customers account on FIME INC.

You can only spend on either one of the card for RM500 per month.
Example:

Eligible: Month: August, Spend RM500 on credit card.

Not Eligible: Month: August, Spend RM300 on credit card, spend RM200 on debit card.

Eligible: Month: August, Spend RM500 on credit card. Month: September, Spend RM500 on Debit card.

If I’ve 2 credit cards:

Scenario 1: Card A: Spend RM300; Card B: Spend RM200

Scenario 2: Card A: Spend RM200 + RM300; Card B: RM0
For the above 2 scenario, r they fulfill the card spending requirement?
*
QUOTE(rojakwhacker @ Aug 17 2019, 10:35 PM)
Scenario 2 is eligible. Scenario 1, no idea.

Actually was told by bank agent to spend cumulated RM500 on one card either credit card or debit card. So i have no idea if 2 credit card share Rm500 spend will be eligible or not. May be should be fine. hmm.gif Or try ask your bank agent the one who help open your OCBC 360 saving account.  flex.gif

Scenario 1 should work.

I've made debit card transaction prior to receiving the new credit card so the remaining spending will be from the credit card. Will update when the interest rolls in.
