Wondering does the RM 100+ interest worth when it is funded by credit card and got slapped by late payment & fee if somehow the apom balik game fails purely due to miss payment due date. hmm.gif

I'm not sure about OCBC IB UI but UOB PIB UI will show you MAB of previous months for InvestPro and Stash accounts.
For Stash account, it'll also show how much you need to top up for the current month in order to get the bonus interest.

Yay. As I now will have more than 100k in the account for the whole month on 2nd Aug I expect to see this:

Interest credit: RM 16.99
360 Bonus Interest: RM 110.41
360 Bonus Interest: RM 110.41
360 Bonus Interest: RM 110.41

Let´s see if it will happen rclxms.gif

I'm pretty sure you have at least RM 100k in 360.

Me also never had more than 30 or 40k before in 360 account. But now with FD rates so low, staff told me not to renew matured FD, just let the money in 360 account and fulfill the 3 criteria. Which is easy job.
*
So you divert all in matured FD into 360 to reach 100k?

Means that if my balance is RM25000 (assuming after all the transaction below done in 1st day of month), I can enjoy 3.9%+(base) on the RM25000 ??? from 1st-31st of the month, credited following month?

-I just need to:
1. transfer RM500 from other bank.
2. Pay RM1 to 3 bill / same bill 3 times.
3. Reload bigpay RM500
*
A calculator is available there:
https://www.ocbc.com.my/personal-banking/accounts/360/

Go play with it.

(3) eligibility I don't know.

If OCBC has more branches, I may consider open 360 too.
The whole Penang island got 2 branches only.

compare to SC privilege savings, is this better rate + easier to achieve?

is there any charges for withdrawal/transaction exceeding certain numbers of times.??

Boost/BP reload using their debit card also consider spending? top up(boost & by) using direct account debit not entitled right? I do not have their cc.
*
Isn't 360 easier to achieve?
Min deposit of RM 500 only compared to PS of RM 3000 deposit.

Thanks for the info
Hope they extend for another 5 to 10 years

Unker don't understand why opr will drop
What will determine opr?
Economy good opr drop?
Economy bad opr rises since more ppl borrow money?
Or is it now Malaysia lots of ppl got lots of cash then not much ppl borrow money?
Anyone can provide some simple explanation?

I work 30 years in the air condition industry so don't know much about financial stuff.

OPR movement is under the jurisdiction of BNM.
Mainly driven by economic strength/condition and/or financial liquidity/money movement (M1 or M2 - cannot remember)

If it also sometimes influenced by fiscal policy and/or inflationary pressure.

Means good economy and everything good then opr drop
So why inflation still go up since opr drop?
Does not make sense at all
My pan mee now cost 6.50 per bowl at Puchong area
Next year aunty say rm7 coming
Gila la this inflation
*
BNM is anticipating a weaker growth in the 2nd half; not past few months ago.
BNM is acting according to national statistics not your personal feeling/observation.

Cutting OPR means BNM wants encourage domestic spending to spur up the GDP number.

Do take note that the market is anticipating another OPR cut by end of this year or early next year.

Not sure if answers your question but I'll share with you my experience when I opened my OCBC 360 account
Usually OCBC encourage you to open the account closest to your address. My residence and office are in KL (both very close to OCBC branch and HQ) but I went to the OCBC branch in Selangor because it was Federal Territories Day therefore none of the KL branches are opened. I didn't want to take leave just to go to the bank so I opt to go to a branch in Selangor. The person attending to my bank account application had to refer to the branch manager or person in charge before proceeding to open my 360 account (no major hiccups in particular)

I just completed the form as usual with the RM500 deposit. They didn't ask for any company letter of such.
*
But I thought all banks in Malaysia follow FT holiday calendar.
Selangor branch shouldn't open if it's a FT public holiday.
Likewise, a Selangor should open even if it's a state holiday but not observed as FT holiday.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you enable online purchases?
Some bank has that flag for debit cards.
