I meant to block that specific user. I think the bank can do it. Long time ago, my other bank credit card was blocked for TnG transactions due to auto reload (set too low). Upon calling them, then the following transactions can pass through without issue
*
I get what you mean. But in his case, I think the bank refer the user cc usage as a whole rather than just the user cc spending in each categories. So, when he swipe 20k or more monthly regardless of where he spend, he still swipe 20k total on his cc, due to that spending pattern bank deems he is abuser and decided to block him.

Anyway, its a good info for other users to take note, especially those cc-cash users. innocent.gif

that's me. i did like transferring 30k from ocbc saving acct to psa, like 5-10 times a month. they called and i said to earn interest.

then after few weeks received a hardcopy letter saying they are closing my saving acct. i didnt argue as i have been working with Singaporeans and i know it is pointless.

haha ya, for half a year or so. explained two times through phone and they seemed ok. first time even suggested "is it to earn interest" to me which i said yes. about two months later call again and i said to earn interest. then few weeks later they asked me to go bank (like 2, 3 calls within a month) that i didnt want to. then i received the letter lo. by that time i already opened up sc psa and hlb so didnt want to pursue la.

oh they didnt cut my pink card. and gave me rm50 + rm25 tax after i tried to close it...

From search of this thread, for direct debit from debit card is consider as Spend category. While standing instruction is consider as Pay category.

ok, should be true.

I remember the direct debit transaction require me to insert my debit card number. So, it is under Spend category.

Have not using standing instruction yet so cannot verify on that.

Thank you for helping out me.

Yes correct. Pay with card = spend, pay with account balance = pay.

The nice thing about the website is it clearly shows you whether you have met your goals to get the bonus interest. No need to count yourself.

I think most moved to SCB earlier already. But SCB rates have dropped, so left RHB 2.85 is the best (without investment)

Currently I have both PSA(2.15%) & OCBC360, mostly using PSA n exceeded funds only use OCBC360. I have RHB BSA and didnt know RHB Smart is giving a good 2.85%, thanks for this info.
