One of the criteria is debit/CC spend. I think 1k? If you use debit 1k you basically get nothing. If you use CC you can get cashback on that 1k

I like RHB BONUS(3). Just transfer a few thousand there can satisfy the condition, then can transfer out the money. If i have some FD fund dangling waiting to be put in next FD, i will just transfer it there for 1 night stay to earn a little bit, can cover my annual debit fees liao.

Just now call for cc sst rebate/waiver/cb whatever bank call it. OCBC said they no longer offer rebate for SST, so I request to cancel the card and the officer offer for rebate for 1 of the card that I wish to cancel. I rejected and insist to cancel it. Wait for retention team to call back and offer both card waiver....lets see how.

Don't do brand loyalty. Get RHB, keep the OCBC account in case things change. Holding cost is probably RM8 for debit card annually only. You count yourself how much the interest difference every month.

Unlikely....ocbc is slightly more premium compared to local, you would stay because you like the bank, the feel, the environment, the staff and all, but not so much on the rates.

I personally really like ocbc compared to other bankss compared to especially rhb : really horible bank...unless you have piles of cash else u gotta choose what you want n need ...the rates or the bank
