No. I just say I want apply balance transfer, they did not even get my other credit card number, just transfer the BT amount to my savings. No I'm not new to bank customer, I think applied to all.
I login Hong Leong Connect, Live Chat with them, left my contact number, they call back after 1 day.
3 months BT for 0%.

For latest M2U 0% BT promo, is the waiver of upfront fee guaranteed? I realised that in the previous campaign, there's a fixed quota for fee waivers but there is no mention in the current one.

Promo until 31st March 2018, I doubt it is finished by now.

I think the latest MBB BT is different from last one which

"Upfront fee of 3% for Balance Transfer 0% 12 months is WAIVED during the Campaign period".

Just to confirm on the process of applying for Maybank's promo BT (newbie in this):

1. Apply at M2U
2. Processing and confirmation
3. BT transacted with upfront fee charged
4. Upfront fee automatically waived (reversed) some weeks later right?

Did they create a separate account for you on this BT? is the account number also 16 digit like credit card number?

I heard HLB bt come with a penalty if you do an early settlement, did cs told you this?

Planning to do a HLB 3 months BT transfer to saving account, and proceed with Maybank 0% BT for 12 months to pay off the HLB BT, making the whole BT become 12 months 0% with cash in saving account.

I plan to do the same, look like HLB BT account number is not an CC number, might face issue when applying BT with other bank to pay off this account.

How about over pay to HLB cc and call cs to transfer the overpay amount to BT account? possible for other bank but not sure on HLB, i'm still new to HLB.

Yes a separate accounts.
Yes did know about the BT expiry date, this is not the first time I apply HLB BT,
need to call CS to confirm your last instalment expiry date before make payment.
But I did heard that MBB BT cannot BT to the BT account, only credit card account, u may have try.
So far all my MBB BT approved only with credit card accounts,
so far I did not use BT settle BT.

Need to call cs to confirm last installment before make payment, let say if cs mentioned expiry date is 12 Dec, to avoid early settlement penalty, can make last payment on 12 dec or need to clear on 13 dec?

I just email the BT form to maybank rather from M2U.

May you update us is this method manage to go through when you receive reply from Maybank?

But if you BT to HLB BT account, you will incur earlier settlement penalty?

No problem for me as I had applied several times.
Last applied on Sep via MBB app.

0% BT applicable for all MBB Islamic card as well.
