holy cow! this P535 thread is still strong after so long never visited!

but I come with abysmal news, that to switch on WiFi hangs the pda...else, its still a great PDA with great GPS functionality!

Anyone knows what the heck is going on with the pda hanging due to WiFi thingie?

^ what do u mean with the wifi thingie? switch on wifi and it hangs? i used for the past 2 weeks and nothing happened to it.

i hv been using around 1.5 yrs now and no hang due to wifi
just suddenly the batt cover slip off in my pocket cause the phone to off. very annoying. but still going strong for now

Hmm, what I mean is the phone hangs as soon as I turn on wifi...perhaps I should reinstall everything all over again and see which application is causing the problem...argh, so troublesome!

..yesterday i was charging using usb cable and because of some thing urgently i unplug the usb without eject it proper after this move i found some of my program mostly program on my sd card are in blank icon on the menus and can't be load unless i load the program by going to file explorer sd card and look for the program an run it can some sifu help me out this

porbably file corrupted.. you can plug your card on a normal computer and try to repair using checkdisk

I think no problem since my older P525 can do that. You will not find it if you do searching at Microsoft website. 2 place you can do search for that. Asus Support site or XDA Developer.

Hi..i am P535 new user here. I got some question about the phone. That is...if i put my msg ringtone 2 minute more...than why when message coming i press and answer for the message already how come the ringtone still ringing and vibration still continue until the ringtone finish after 2 minute more. Anybody got this problem also?

It's a normal thing for pda phones. The ringtone would continue to ring until finish although you have viewed the message. I've always cut it down to 10-20 seconds so by the time u heard and view the message the message tone has stopped.

WM6.1 you could go to here http://www.asusp535.com/downloads.html (at the bottom). After installing wm6.1 you would have to install Radio firmware A4.9.1 too.

Always backup all your stuffs before formatting to wm6.1.

but the link u give there is only for Hungary. is it have to find for malaysia version or the file can be installed?
