What setting to use for backlight and brightnesss to improve the P535 battery performance?

What other methods or settings can prolong the battery usage time?

ok, i will go to maxis center for this issue,

btw, how can i back up my data to memory card?I dont see any backup function/option on P535....anyone can help?thanks

When u purchase your new phone there is a cd with the SPB Backup program.

Install this and it will ask u to go online and it will bring u to a page to register this software for free.

After this there will be an icon in your program folder to backup your files.

Has any one install Chinese lunar calendar program in their asus p535?

How do you guys switch off the P535?

1. Press the buttton on the top left corner
OR
2. Let the pda go to backlight mode and after that press the hold button on the left side.

Because sometimes when I use method #1 my pda cannot be activated again and I have to soft reset it only after that I can use it again.

My p535 started to hang for no reason the last 2 days. I suspected it is the battery connection cos when I put it on a flat surface it will not hang after I switch it off and on it back again after an hour or so. But if I carry it around it will not on back after I press the on button and other keys.

How long does it take to repair loose connection between battery and the set?

This is due to a loose battery cover.  The phone is designed such that it turns off automatically when you open the cover.

To fix: Open the cover, and put some tape or cardboard to hold the switch in place.
Where is this switch located ? Under the battery or by the side?

The switch is located on the side next to the battery...  You do not need to remove the battery to see the switch.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THE BLUETOOTH SYNC WITH VISTA???
*
Thanks for the info. Found it. The switch is located on the top right corner when u flip the phone over.
Hope this will stop my PDA hanging problem.

Sorry can not help u there on the vista/bluetooth problem cos I am still using the more stable XP Os.

Be careful guys. I inserted some tape to hold down the switch and this sorta broke the switch. Worst part is the switch is connected to the motherboard. My phone is now collecting dust in the Asus Service Centre. They don't have motherboard stock for another month so whatever you do, don't break it now. Sigh.

Broken ..did u mean that it came off? or
It refuse to go down like stuck?
