I've noticed another change to routing this past week that's had a negative effect on games in the EU.

Game is Eve online, server is 87.237.34.200. Server blocks regular trace and ping attempts, so I've stopped the traces at the first 'Request timed out' lines as that's as far as it will get.

This first one is using TIME. For some reason it goes via the entire US to get to europe, which is an awfully long way, and many, many packets get lost on the way.

CODE
Tracing route to srv200-c.ccp.cc [87.237.34.200]

You'll notice that while this one appears to go via the US, it's not. The .ce01.networklayer.com network isn't in the US, as it's impossible with that ping (literally, scientifically impossible). I don't know where it's going, but it's taking a superior and more direct route to europe than TIME does, to such a degree that it's 46% faster than TIME.

I don't know who's in charge of the routing, but someone's been screwing around and cutting corners, and it's showing.

Here's the same thing via DIGI. As mentioned in a previous post, digi's internet is trash and I wouldn't use it for anything other than mobile surfing, but at least their routing is pretty spot on.

I noticed same, again Time got failure in routing, now it will take again at least 1 week to solve this ranting.gif

You are right bro, some noob TIME admin keeps messing with the routing. 3 weeks ago it was shit. Then it was normalized, then this week start again it become shit again.

I see the routing keeps on changing. Dunno wtf is wrong with TIME. To ASIA is okay, all optimized, but Europe, getting worse and worse.

You'll notice it goes via Mumbai, which is probably how the VPN above also gets to Europe. Why can't TIME do this? It's a more direct route with many, many less hops.

You are right bro, some noob TIME admin keeps messing with the routing. 3 weeks ago it was shit. Then it was normalized, then this week start again it become shit again.

I see the routing keeps on changing. Dunno wtf is wrong with TIME. To ASIA is okay, all optimized, but Europe, getting worse and worse.

when streaming shows on openload/videome, etc literally unwatchable.
