i have this problem too, especially at night time, like zippyshare multiple downloads max only 500kbps, but in the morning download speed can go up to 8000-9000kbps bangwall.gif bangwall.gif

Throttling here too. Unifi seems to go full speed.

With the new budget stating that all land broadband provider to increase their speed at the same price starting Jan17, i wonder whether those who subscribe now will lose out.

Time fibre already are cutting edge for minimum line is 100mb for home broadband , not 5mb -10mb mentioned by somebody . ah ha

Question for all the TIME SIs, have you all encountered issues whereby other telco's installer disrupt your customer's fiber connection?

I personally know 1 person that had her Fiber plugged out at the MDF room of her condo. She found out after her SI came on site and saw the fiber unplugged.

I'm not making allegations here but this morning Telco T came to install a connection on level 10 around 11am. I came home at 1.30 and found out my ONU's LOS light is red. Called support and found no fiber cut nor OLT failure in the area.

Yes we had this experience before..but anyhow your case might be caused by other issue as well

Report made. And yes, could be other issue as well. If such an occurrence is common, is TIME aware about this and is there any mitigation process put in place? It's an inconvenience to TIME's end users and it's ridiculously unethical on the other Telco's part. Just saying.

Any model of wifi router that is better than the given one from Time (dlink-850L)? It need to be able the penatrate 2 brick wall, and if can the price less than RM200. Thanks

Hi there,

Good day to you.

I just installed TIME 100MBPS for less than a month now.. *Experiencing frequent disconnection most of the time.
*Router / D-Link Wireless AC1200 Dual band, provided by TIME
*Speed is often below 5MBPS 😕.. , experiencing it day & night
* Technician already came once to check what is the issue they insisted the router is too weak and have to upgrade
*WIFI slow, no issue with LAN cable
* After installed , bought a wifi repeater (Aztech WL580E), hope can obtain faster speed in the room / the router is in the living room, the signal not able to reach to the room
*** please don't advise on rebooting my router as I've done that too many times. It's like playing with switches lol

Seeking for your kind assistance to further advice on how I can make use of the internet , there's only 4 users using the internet & we are not satisfied with the speed we received everytime. Would love to really know if there's anything else we can do to get better signal in the whole house
