So far so good, but I realised battery consumption once I've switched to digi is higher, probably due to the frequent switch btw 3G & LTE at my work place.
Switch firmly to 3G on phone setting might help?Digi Fans Club & Enquiries V10, Always the smarter choice

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 28 2016, 11:03 AM) Yup, seems a bit slow nowadays.. Maybe. I must admit more and more users port in to Digi already that causes this slowness. Loading video also become slower... And maybe your area too many users also... Maybe the floor also affected. I am staying at the 8th floor. Maybe the signal fluctuates also because of this. |

QUOTE(alexleow81 @ Sep 28 2016, 01:31 PM) I am using Hotlink as my secondary line. No issues there. 4G all the way with speed about 10-20Mbps. oh if that's the case.Digi I get 5 - 10Mbps only. Could be with the congestion. then it's congestion issues.. Maxis won't face it because most users already terminate their services & port out |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 28 2016, 01:33 PM) oh if that's the case. Yes. I think so. Previously 1st 2 weeks of September I am at my new home, it was OK, then comes the 3rd week where the congestion starts to come.then it's congestion issues.. Maxis won't face it because most users already terminate their services & port out |

QUOTE(UntilUComeBack @ Sep 28 2016, 09:54 AM) same case like me. already call and make a report. yesterday got call from CS Digi. they explain why kena cas. this month (RM45) comfirm wave. but she teach me to change from using number > email. if i ever use imessage/facetime. if i jus close the imassage function, will it be same or not? QUOTE(Chrono-Trigger @ Sep 28 2016, 10:19 AM) other telco like maxis and celcom don't charge if we activate facetime by using our handphone number. only digi charges it as international sms. this one i find it quite ridiculous. some people don't want to use email as facetime ID, due to privacy concern. QUOTE(UntilUComeBack @ Sep 28 2016, 10:40 AM) yes. umobile / celcom never charge me for facetime. Their second level of customer service agent called me up today too. They agreed to waive for this time ON GOODWILL BASIS. Wtf?! As if we beg for waive now. The problem is each time you switch sim card (good luck to those travelling alot) / remove your sim to active your imsg / any usage of imsg or facetime - YOU WILL BE CHARGE RM0.50 each time.da heck digi charge pula. so i dunno. now jus off that stupid imessage. not gonna use email. His reason gave me is I have to suck it up. If dont like can complain to SKMM or CFM. Which mean no solution from them. Dafuq |

HAHAHAHA
I was a subscriber for the DIGI mobile broadband 185. originally comes with 30/70gb on/off peak quota. when i first noticed that they had upgraded the on peak quota to 40gb on their website, I called the Digi Helpline number and asked nicely if I am to receive the additional quota as well. But they told me that I need to TERMINATE my line and RESUBSCRIBE for the plan because the offer is only for NEW subscriber. I was quite angry because they pulled off the Maxis move of giving new customers better offer, so I terminated my line which costs me almost RM300, but I did not resubscribe back. N now some existing 185 plan subscribers r telling me that they actually do get extra 10gb bump for the on peak quota. Fuck me right? |

QUOTE(crusher @ Sep 28 2016, 01:48 PM) In fairness, the telcos are not responsible. If your phone sends an international sms, the telco has the right to charge you for it. If anything, you should complain to Apple who designed iMessage to work in this way. Other messaging services like WhatsApp, Telegram never incur charges - their robot even call you for free with the password to setup on a new device. |
