Using the smaller brother, but yeah close enough. Nope not having this problem at all, though I'm not running Claps myself (staying on straight spaced SS). What mod are you running?

On the other hand, I did just go though a similar issue (wild resistance jumps and subsequent TC issues) with twisted SS on my VeloV2 (after hours of fuss free vaping). Turns out my coils were so huge that one of them were touching the top cap everrrrr so slightly lol. A bit of coil adjustment fixed that up quick.

As a Cado is pretty much a Velo on a tank, any chance of something similar happening?
*
Not really since even with the top cap off the resistance jumps still happen. I'm using IPV 3 Li. Also like i said this doesnt happen to my Griffin tank using similar clapton build.

I havent tried using normal kanthal though.

Anyway i heard that the Cado 22 did have some resistance jumps and no/check atomizer problems but fixed in 24 sweat.gif

Welcome to the Cado gang Bro. You actually can run longer wicks if you want to (and not have to tilt)... but you'll lose capacity of course.

I actually filled up the tank full before wicking, after wicked the juice left 3 quarter of the tank only. And oh man this cado really sucks juice, it only took 2 hours to dry the tank, without chain vaping.

I don't have those, but I might just be lucky. The insulator is *probably* the problem as even seated prefect some of them just wasn't made that well (ehem GV).

Also, authentic? Might seem to be a pretty dumb question but there has been cases of clone 24 Cados being sold off as auths over here (even with auth sticker and all). Key point being the fill port will *not* have any silicone in them on clones.

Yes it's authentic for sure.

Check the FastTech product forum for the Cado. In most TC/resistance jumping issues, they usually have issues with uneven/damaged insulators (some even straight out of the box). They also have posted some fixes using small orings.

Which is a crying shame as when it works well, it's a pretty awesome tank. But yeah, the Cado does eat juice for sure. Not sure if it eats more than the old TFV4 coils though lol.

Yes i heard about that small 'o' ring but to my knowledge that's a fix for cado 22 not 24

That just an extrapolation on my part. GV might have improved the 24, but there will always be lemons... unfortunately.

Why not go back to the shop for an exchange? Maybe a new unit would work better.

For those who have a few tanks, do you usually leave the tank untouch with eliquid inside?

is it kinda normal for cado tanks to change cotton let's say every 2 days when the taste slightly feel a bit muted?

or the cotton gets darker at the coils, or all dependent on the juice we vape on?

ss clapton 0.5ohm running temp mode at 200C

I like to switch juice after each tank. Was trying to remove the reservoir of the Avocado just now for a clean up and re-wick. Found out that the positive pin connected to the positive post, have to be slightly careful not to accidentally moved the positive post or else the coil will be ruined. It's that a con? Well at least yes to me, personally. Or is there other way to clean the tank?
