hoho, seems more and more 478 user coming out.
@raymond5105 AI7 on sales?? Good luck for you sales. @alexandros_18th 3.44GHz with 50s 1m Super PI is a bit low. hmm....maybe try to reduce unused services and terminate background programs. What divider you using now? if 1:1 it should be quite fast in superpi. can show us your cpuz screenshots? |

i think air flow in your casing is also 1 of the main factor that makes the temp increase. I faced before, in the end i just open my side panel, the temp goes down >5'C.
maybe get a better cooling is good solution to cool down presHott. Shawty's p4 3.0E last time manage to run at 4GHz with temp lower than 60'C. if you are not going for OC then i think it shouldnt be a big prob for the temp. |

i cut a HUGE hole on my side panel, installed alu net instead of acrylic, so that got air flow in but not much dust, but still the cpu is above 50...

Ever think of screw a fan on the alu net to draw cool air above CPU? |

Check your mounting.. If mounting not good, it will affect the contact between the cooler and your processor IHS. Thus, increase the temp. If you really change to 3.0E, a third party cooler is HIGHLY recommended. It is one of those 'very hot' processor. Or you can try to look for those 3.0C. Much cooler. |
