you can either take out the battery for a while or use the jumper to reset it.

what version of your bios? maybe update it to later version can help solve the problem. Give it a try. smile.gif

so that program enable oc in window?? but 3% is consider same as no o at all. Never used before as my mobo is not supported.

Better get other mobo if really want to oc. s478 mobo is almost like antique now, really hard to find. sad.gif

The program is useless in Intel 865PERL. Last time i owned one,no matter after or before o/c,the performance is still almost the same. yawn.gif

haha...i also oc my mobo before using old version clockgen.using 2.8E can go up untill 3.2...the performance increased...

i have use clockgen before but never success after few try, then give up and use manual BIOS oc which is easier to set. smile.gif

Some guys OCed their Dell to 3.5Ghz without problems....laugh.gif

Can't believe it.I thought those Dell dekstops cannot be o/c at all. Right now i am using a Dell desktop in my office,2.6Ghz HT system.Don't know got chance to o/c or not...

mine's version 1009 if im not mistaken..tried to update the bios thru asus update utility but cant find the file in the server doh.gif

after trying umpteen times i finally got my pc to boot up laugh.gif all settings at default and now running DC with 2 of my KVR400 at 166mhz 5:4 divider smile.gif now i wonder if i can push it back up to 2.7ghz without any problems hmm.gif


edit : but i love my temps currently - 33c idle rclxm9.gif

edit 2 : i've already downloaded the beta bios v1010..should i use it?hmm abit afraid la cuz its beta laugh.gif

i not facing any issue on v1009 beta. 33c is nice temp. your kvr running at 166? are you sure it is 5:4? easiest way to check is by using cpuz.smile.gif

i left default is running 4:5 = cpu(166):ram(200), now running 1:1 cpu(166):ram(166). unless i get 800fsb proc, if not it is no chance for me to get 5:4, 3:2 divider. tongue.gif
