Sentul & Cheras speeds dropping below 1Mbps lately. Lots of dropped packets too (i.e. page stalls while loading)

At my post image there the maxis given 3g modem.
I dont know what model was it but maxis give free modem for subscribing 1 year contract , but after it expired he cancel it leaving the modem and he is not using it. How do you all get super high speeds? Mine has been going down the cliff since last week - reminiscent of Celcom (Less than 300Kbps)! Full HSPA signal, and using E1762 as well.
