Can Maxis' speed go up to 7.2Mbps or 3.6Mbps ?
Thinking of whether to update the firmware or not... |

QUOTE(KKW @ Dec 9 2010, 02:41 AM) it depends on what modem u're using.. I'm using Novatel Merlin XU870.. at the moment it's on 3.6Mbps. if let say, e220 which my friend has one upgraded to 7.2mbps firmware and the speed only less than 3.6mpbs currently I'm using e1762 which almost max out 7.2mbps and my area are covered by HSPA.. Here my screenshots... A firmware upgrade can get it to support 7.2Mbps (or brick the modem) |

RM378 = RM210 (device) + RM68 (fee advance) + RM100 (activation), right ?[attachmentid=1959812] i paid rm378.00 and got free usage of its UB68 for 1 mth, and another rm100 rebate for 5 mths ( they sell this for only rm210, whereas maxis sell an older model for rm380[contractless] ) Offer till 31 Dec 2010 only... and need to stay for 5 months to enjoy the RM20x5 rebate I wonder they will make it even cheaper in 2011 ;-) This post has been edited by ronnie: Dec 27 2010, 12:21 PM |

@digilife: good idea to terminate after 1-mth usage. Any termination clauses? You removed the UM logo....right?
