Just got email from Maybank stating that my card has been approved and CL increased to 30k.
Application was submitted on 19 April, which makes it less than 2 weeks.

In my case, Maybank did not call me for any verification.

Hopefully I get the MUVI card as the form I filled has that option.

Called the Premier Line to redeem points for my AmEx Plat's SST.

As usual, it is so impressive that the call was picked up with just one ring, I haven't even got ready with my request yet. laugh.gif

I'm not going to let go this M2P, MU please do me a favour so that I can justify my spending and continue using this service. biggrin.gif

I have been enjoying this so called CS "excellent" service for many years with Maybank. It's nothing to be shout off. That's the basic requirements of all CS in the world. You all sounded like just discover oasis after battering through endless desert

Don't get so agitated. Here's what the expectation of a Premium CS should be - and MBB should learn from this.

I'm currently holding AMEX Ascend from SG.
Everytime I call their hotline, the CS will ask the first question: How was your day, Mr. Wong? When I shared mine, I'll generally return the question. The CS will shared his/hers. From their reply, they are all GENUINE. A TRUST is established from there on. As a customer I feel comfortable and relaxed talking with them. Not some scripted line. You should listen how they ended their call - pleasant goodbye and well wishes

Well, you mentioned Maybank, so I'm curious. If it's SG or other bank, I'm not so surprised.

This is the minimum requirement of CS regardless of what business they are into.

But too bad lousy CS is all around due to tolerance, culture, policy, politic, etc.

Agree.
Just take a look at our (annoying) telemarketers (after you apply for their CC).
Generally their quality is very low and keep promoting the same product even you have rejected them countless time.
Once I encountered a rude telemarketer, who straight away cut of my call after I rejected her (nicely).
The best telemarketer I encountered was from Accor (hotel), they are really professional!
Though I still rejected her end of the day smile.gif

maybe out of topic , but im using amex reserve & visa infinite for top-up,
contact boost support also cannot gv me a solution.


anyone's face this problem before ?
my wife account cannot key in amount in boost.
she using own supplementary card.
tried both amex reserve n VI also unable add amount to boost.

left picture is my own account ,
right picture my wife account , cannot key in anything , onlycan view the card detail.

Maybe will need to reinstall, try adding other card? Have you posted this in Boost thread? Maybe other people have same encounters on other cards.

Wah, first time hearing 10k. I thought 5k for Gold, 10k for Plat, 20k for VS and 30k for VI.

Probably up to the officers to decide, i'm sure there are other criteria they will look at, e.g. age, financial standing, credit rating, etc.

fruitieYou're correct about the compentency of Maybank CC Call Centre. Even the normal platinum line is good compared to other banks Call Centre.

Many more customers using Platinum than Premier, so less calls to Premier faster to pick up lor haha
