seems this thread also used to discuss about MU VI card. So I tumpang tanya la ok?
I am not so familiar about travel loyalty points such as Enrich Miles / KrisFlyer / Asia Miles (is this AirAsia BigPoint?). I have just done some study comparing maybank cards, and have some question if someone here that know willing to enlighten me: 1) For Maybank 2 Cards Premier, come in two cards, reserve AMEX and VI. The card benefit such as RM1 local spend get 5x TP is applicable to both card or just reserve AMEX? 2) For Maybank Manchester United VI, the day that RM1 local spend get 5x TP is follow local time or UK time? If it's local time, the date of the day follow the date of the match start or the date of the match end? Because sometime the match start at 11.xx PM and end at 1.xx AM of the next day. So which day spending is entitled for 5x TP if MU win that match? 3) For Maybank VI / Maybank Islamic Ikhwan VI-i, I see no different in benefit. Right? 4) For Maybank World Mastercard, I see the product disclosure stated is TreatAirMiles. So TreatAirMiles is not same with TreatPoints right? Because I see TM won't expire. And this card enable redeem 1000 MAS with 6000 TAM, what about KrisFlyer and AsiaMiles? Only can redeem MAS? 5) For Maybank Islamic World Mastercard Ikwan, very confusing. Product disclosure say spending will get TreatPoints but say redeem MAS/SA/AM with TreatAirMiles. So spending get TP or TAM? Product disclosure also never mention the expiry date of TP/TAM. 6) final question, for TreatPoints from Maybank 2 Cards Premier / Maybank Manchester United VI / Maybank VI / Maybank Islamic Ikhwan VI-i, is it the same TreatPoints from Maybank 2 Platinum/Gold Cards? If it's the same, if I have Maybank 2 Cards Premier, Maybank Manchester United VI and Maybank 2 Platinum Cards, I can combine the TP to redeem MAS/SA/AM? Or the TP cannot be combined and only can be redeem at the different rate of each card for the TP earned through spending of each card? thank you in advanced. |

QUOTE(tohff7 @ Jan 24 2019, 10:40 PM) 1. 5x local spend only applicable for Amex So for example, if UK kick off time is 24 Jan 6pm, our time is 25 Jan 2am, all our spending on 24 Jan (our time) only will get 5x TP when MU win?2. 5x bonus MU win follow UK kick-off date 6. Can’t combine because the conversion rate is different for each card |

QUOTE(tarvalslain87 @ Jan 31 2019, 10:36 AM) Yes you have the option to choose the MU VI paired with the AMEX Premier. Ive applied mine earlier this month at a MBB branch and now in process. how do they calculate SST and annual fee if getting MU VI (replacing the normal VI that come with reserved AMEX) and reserved AMEX? |

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Feb 4 2019, 09:49 AM) Matchday 3/2/19. Premier League so follow UK date. This explanation is so easy to understand. Thank you.You must have your transaction date recorded in M2U (checked on 5/2 or 6/2) to be 3/2/19. Time zone difference not an issue. P/S: sorry for not using multi quote this time. |

Applied for M2P but get rejected today. Not sure why but there are few possibilities:
a) basic salary don't touch 10k/month but annual salary exceeded the 120k requirement. in fact exceeded by a lot. They shouldn't penalize my application just because my bonus is almost same as my basic salary. Moreover this bonus is not a one off thing, been consistently getting it for the past 3 years and I show them in EA forms as well. b) my credit limit doesn't touch 30k. I now trying to dump my Islamic card and transfer the credit limit to Conventional card. At the same time, trying to request to increase Conventional credit limit. If approved, I will then write in for appeal for M2P. Wasted one whole day at 1U MBB card centre just to do those. |

QUOTE(knwong @ Feb 12 2019, 09:20 PM) As far as I know all banks use the fixed income part for all financial product eligibility, not the bonus component. Even SG banks do that QUOTE(tohff7 @ Feb 12 2019, 09:24 PM) Bonus is discretionary, that’s why bank don’t take that into account. 4 years ago when I apply PBB VS, my basic salary cannot reach the annual income requirement. You might want to try the pledge FD approach with bonus, PBB approved my application. if bonus don't take into account, might as well say annual basic income rather than annual income. if bonus cannot be considered as annual income, ask income tax don't tax me on the bonus. if bonus cannot be considered as annual income, why every month I still need to pay PCB at that tier (basic+bonus reach higher tier)? This make my net income become much less. Online apply for credit limit increase at maybank2u ask me to fill in net income. This post has been edited by skty: Feb 12 2019, 09:37 PM |

just receive email from maybank informing approval of my appeal on M2P.
seems my long-written-complaint-email works I attached my statement of now-cancelled-back-then-active Islamic Ikhwan card that has 15k credit limit and the same month statement of conventional cards that have 20k credit limit. Stating total I have 35k credit limit from Maybank but why after cancel Ikwan card, they never transfer the 15k back to my conventional card. Then now when I apply for Islamic Petronas, they only give me 5k credit limit. Where is that 10k gone? apart from there, stating I have been Maybank customer very long ago and I have never failed to fully settle monthly card balance. finally they approve my appeal. phew. |

M2P has its own anniversary or follow existing conventional card anniversary?
If my M2P just approved now and my existing. convential card anniversary is, for example is June, will my M2P get charged with AF on June 2019? |
