How do you all track / verify that all points comes in? I read before that some people said they do TP reconciliation? From the statement it seems to show a pretty limited breakdown. Actually, anyone got an explanation what all these terms in the statement means?
Visa Infinite Overseas Spend
Visa Infinite Local Spend
Overseas Spend
Amex Reserve 4x Spend
Petrol Points

I guess some are self explanatory. But what's the difference VI Overseas Spend & an Overseas Spend? Why is Amex 4x instead of 5x? And what is Petrol Points?

Also, in M2U website, in the points section there is a separate item called Membership Points? Any idea what this is?

I used to track but without an Excel sheet.

Normally just see if there's any TP increase in the morning. Then divide by 3 and you should roughly know the bonus is coming from which game

Been doing a lot more transactions so don't bother anymore

No choice, too many transactions, check every 2-3 days to ensure everything is correct.
Else month end headache.
From here, I can easily trace back my previous spending too (sometimes need to check when / where spend how much etc).

VI overseas = overseas spend with your VI
Overseas = Amex
Amex 4x because already have 1x in the total
Petrol = spend on petrol lo

Try to tally these figure from your statement.
Not too hard to understand.
Take some time especially first time.
I have an excel sheet to tally with, but when transaction increases, sometimes lazy to update.
The excel sheet already have all formulas, just fill in the figures and it will auto calculate everything, including how many miles more I needed for my next redemption (now 0, gonna make some redemption soon tongue.gif)
*
Haha. You're on another level!

So basically, let's say I spend the following:
VI Petrol = RM100
Amex Petrol = RM200
VI Local = RM300
VI Overseas =RM400
Amex Local = RM500
Amex Overseas = RM600

My statement would show the following?
TP earned for the month = 100 + 200 + 300 + 400 + 500 + 600 = 2100
Multiple TP earned at Participating Partners for the month = 6000, where
Petrol Points = 100x1 + 200x4
VI Local Spend = 300x1
VI Overseas Spend = 400x1
Amex Reserve 4x Spend = 500x4
Overseas Spend = 600x4

Or if you don't mind sharing your hardwork you can DM me your excel.. rclxm9.gif

EDIT:
Checking my statement I think petrol is counted separately, so it should be:
TP earned for the month = 300 + 400 + 500 +600 = 1800
Multiple TP earned at Participating Partners for the month = 6300, where
Petrol Points = 100x2 + 200x5
VI Local Spend = 300x1
VI Overseas Spend = 400x1
Amex Reserve 4x Spend = 500x4
Overseas Spend = 600x4
Also, there are small discrepancies from just multiplying the "total debit this month" .. I assume it's because for each individual transaction the amount is rounded down.

i only track those MU matches only since it is known as manual add up by mbb ops team. The rest will assume it is taken care by 'MBB system' tongue.gif

I think more or less correct, didn't check back my statement.
Not too sure whether "TP earned for month" including overseas spend (petrol is excluded)
VI Overseas spend shall be 400x4 (or 400x5, not too sure)
If you have MUVI, it further complicated the statement tongue.gif

Okok thanks. never bothered checking statement as I just assumed it's correct and all auto-generated. but at least I understand it more now.
I just got MUVI last month, will check that too (btw, those that do what's your strategy? I think I'll top up to BP 5k tmrw, and another 5k for the Everton game as it's an early game)

Just go to MAS, SIA or Asiamiles website to get a rough gauge of the required miles for the place you intended to go lor

Ya, vs Everton following week is confirmed type. But winning odds is only 44%.
After that is vs Chelsea which is an even tougher match.
So some 'gambling' is required. biggrin.gif
