QUOTE(ASAP @ Feb 1 2025, 11:59 AM) Hi, I managed to convert all my treatpoints to Enrich and wondering is Maybank 2 Card Premier still the best air miles conversion rate in the market given the increase from 10k to 12.5k in Feb? I am thinking to move to another credit card which could give a better conversion. Any good suggestion? Thanks Since you’re converting to Enrich, and if you only want one card, can consider the Ambank Enrich VI for both overseas and local spend, or the HLB VI for local spend (as the overseas earn rate isn’t that good compared to the Ambank card). The headache now is for those who wants KF miles looking to supplement the Amex KF card.

I wonder how long before they devalue the KF amex platinum as well. Premium VI is now RM6=1 mile, the KF amex still RM2.50=1mile for normal local spends.

MBB really sucks with their sneaking in the devaluation like this. I managed to convert my 3 Million TP to Krisflyer and now trying to find an alternate replacement CC for Krisflyer points. I already have the KF Amex Plat and was browsing other banks options. Anyone using CIMB Travel World Elite ? Not sure if I got the math / calculation rite from their website but it looks to slightly better ?

CIMB TWE is not good for local spending and if overseas spending, UOB will be better. I already terminated my TWE in Dec 2024.

Ok so what’s the best deal on airmiles now? I haven’t done a thorough research but seems it would be the Amex Plat Charge for local spend (1.4 MYR per mile local/overseas) and UOB VI for overseas (1.2 MYR per mile). Assuming you’re willing to stick to Maybank and play this godawful redemption game.
Are there other premium cards that offer a better conversion ratio?

QUOTE(sihamsedap @ Feb 1 2025, 09:20 AM) Thanks it’s showing as redeemed in their system but noting in kf guess I’ll wait. Haven’t had such long delay in a while If TP the miles should be in your FFP account immediately If KF still not reflected, I assume you redeemed with MR? If MR, it normally takes 2-3 days

Well, at least tonight from 100 million air miles to 2 billion air miles to be snatched. Time to whack all because come 22nd Feb, +2.5k TP extra needed for 1k air miles. thank you so much for the information. I thought i have missed it again this month. Just redeemed 60,000 KF 10.20pm just now. hopefully it will appear in KF apps tomorrow. again, thank you mate.

Yes, TWE shouldn’t have overseas transaction charges.

UOB PME + Zenith = RM0.62/KF for SG/TH/VN/ID currency spending. For other currency spending, VI/PME + Zenith, you get RM0.74/KF. Agoda booking w PME, you can get up to RM0.42/KF.

with the devaluation, there is really no use for this Visa Infinite now (even the Ambank Enrich Platinum has better conversion now). The Amex Platinum with 5% weekend rebate and RM4 per mile is much better. They don't allow me to cancel just the Amex Reserve which i already stopped using and said they are bundled together (because i have to pay the RM25 service tax for both cards)
I am keeping it for this one last year until I used up the 5 lounge access, after that bye bye

I just applied for world elite mastercard for its wider access to Travel Club Lounge. Not interested with the TP earnings
Was surprised it's made of metal...not the heavy one though but impressed nonetheless

Accrue points across all cards, but convert to miles using Zenith. At RM1k annual fee, that's cheaper than the Amex Plat -- but maybe fewer benefits depending on usage. Annual spending above 240K on Zenith get bonus points, and there is loyalty bonus point depends year of usage. Free hotel night stay and complimentary limo are also good perks if you travel always. You may explore and decide. This is MBB thread. Better stick to MBB

No point wasting money on the tax of a useless card

Just applied for CIMB TW card, at RM4 : 1 airmile for local & RM1 : 1 airmile (0.85 : 1 airmile for TWE) for foreign currency, i think it's currently the "best" overall 1 card solution for KF miles. Will cancel stupid MBB once i get it...

I understand you earn 8x BP for foreign currency and 2x BP for local spend, which translates to RM1.875:1 mile for foreign currency and RM7.5:1 mile for local. Note that 15,000BP = 1,000 KF Miles
