Hello sifus, I want to convert my TP to air miles for the first time this coming month. How do I link my Krisflyer membership to the Maybank TP redemption? Is it going to ask me for my KF number during checkout?
Hope to dump my M2P soon due to this air miles fiasco, wish I had converted before this whole thing happened.

QUOTE(Zegoon681111 @ Jan 30 2025, 10:11 PM) Yes, you need to key in your KF no during checkout Wonderful, thanks for the reply. QUOTE(1stLaksamana @ Jan 31 2025, 02:34 AM) is there a cap limit on how many points/airmiles can be redeemed per cardholder per month? can we redeem all our points (1million /2 million) points at one go, before the maybank 100m cap is all used up? I think no individual monthly cap, only the 2 million miles limit annually per person. The overall cap is 100 million per month, so maximum only 50 people can redeem 2 million at one go lol. Hope these points whales have completed their redemption and moved on to better deals by now

Ok so what’s the best deal on airmiles now? I haven’t done a thorough research but seems it would be the Amex Plat Charge for local spend (1.4 MYR per mile local/overseas) and UOB VI for overseas (1.2 MYR per mile). Assuming you’re willing to stick to Maybank and play this godawful redemption game.
Are there other premium cards that offer a better conversion ratio?

QUOTE(francis226 @ Feb 4 2025, 01:27 PM) UOB PME + Zenith = RM0.62/KF for SG/TH/VN/ID currency spending. For other currency spending, VI/PME + Zenith, you get RM0.74/KF. Agoda booking w PME, you can get up to RM0.42/KF. Ooh, interesting. So the Zenith relationship bonus points applies for other UOB cards as well?Edit: I get it now. Accrue points across all cards, but convert to miles using Zenith. At RM1k annual fee, that's cheaper than the Amex Plat -- but maybe fewer benefits depending on usage.
