am i ? i just curious of algozen recommendation and seek for view of point, i'm not into tech related investment as for me its a seasonal.

as for nurse / doctor discussion what a crap ..

I said US exposure. And both Manulife US equity & TA Global Tech fits the bill from a number perspective. I may choose either. I put TA Tech Global not because I am in favour of the tech sector; I choose TA tech because of its US exposure at 76%.

Guys, want to ask is there any funds which invest in private hospitals, pharmacy (practically in Malaysia and/or outside malaysia)?
*
AFAIK, only few private hospital players in msia, it doesn't make sense to have a fund to buy just that few counters. If you believe strongly in their potential, you can buy those shares directly lor.... the main ones are IHH and KPJ; sime darby is a conglomerate with a small healthcare segment

Cause I looked at FSM, there's no fund which invest in healthcare sector. There's REITS, Gold, tech but not healthcare sector. FSM SG have but I am not very sure. Anyway thanks for letting me know that really don't have. I thought I might have missed it.

No funds that do this in the local scene.

Do check out Al-Aq'ar Islamic REIT, IHH, Caring individual stock if you want to exposed yourself to Hospital & Pharmacy sector.

What is the percentage of holdings by TA Global Tech Fund in Apple shares?

If it's not very heavy and substantial, NAV won't swing a lot.

Plus, with the smartphone is consolidating into saturation, can Apple keep its hype with the launch of iPhone 7? Perhaps iPhone 7 is just an incremental upgrade of 6s.
*
7% in their latest FFS. Apple is in their top ten holding. Let's assume Apple price drop 25%, then you would expect TAGTF to drop 0.07 x 0.25 = 1.75%.

I first knew FSM 2 years ago when first started my career. Long time since then and I've learned tremendously from you guys..

Just dropping by to say thanks to you all sifus.

pretty much still learning new things everyday as I touch my FSM account sometimes only aside from monthly top-ups to regular funds.

Today added Am REIT into my portfolio now and also added Libra Asnita..

I had a large % of CMF2 previously and now decided to trim it down and move a bit to Asnita after done some readings..

Algozen™ Crystal-Ball Fund monthly report:

Due to some sh1t head local asset management company for no reason sell down on certain KLCI Small Cap counter, my beloved darling star ESISC ROI dropped from 4% in a month

This is counter-balanced by a positive growth from

I) Libra Asnita Bond +ve 1%

II) TAGTF +ve 2%

III) India +ve 0.75%

IV) Manulife US -ve 2%

V) RHB Asian Income -ve 1.5%

Total portfolio = neither gain nor loss, it moved sideways.

Merdeka sales lai liao.... 0.57% special discount!

What to buy, what to buy? This is the most pertinent question on LYN - FSM regulars' mind.

I too am also curious on what to buy hence I have decided to throw some numbers into Algozen™ and see what she throws up.

So, after crunching some numbers, it looks like this:

She still favour Asia-Pac ex-Japan, India and US.

For Asia Pac x-Jp:

i) Reits x 35% (Can choose either Manulife REITs or AM Asia Pac REITs), if cannot decide, then half half lor!

ii) RHB Asian Income x 35%

iii) India x 15% (Can choose either Manulife India or CIMB China-India, but I prefer the Manulife pure India since RHB Asia Income is already heavy on China & HK)

iv) US x 15% (Can choose either Manulife US or TA Global Tech). Although TA Global Tech by name is global, in its FFS, more than 75% of its assets held are in US stock -  market.

Total = 100%.

Xuzen.

P/s: Currently Algozen™ no like Bolehland, Europe & Gold or Precious Metal.

T&C says the payment must be RECEIVED by 3PM.

Your cheque is from which bank? If SCB cheque, I'd say 99% no problem.

If inter-bank cheque (i.e. from other banks), if I'm FSM I'll tell u to fly kite, cos the payment is not yet cleared, soonest for the cheque to clear would be tomorrow evening. tongue.gif
