since i started invested 2 years ago, most of my topups (80% of the invested amount) was done at below 2%. i'm guilty of the same.

while i have not been topping up much since last year, i think we should try to be more objective about when to top up. be aware that the discount from the top up may be abit pointless when you invest at the peak. while i don't disagree with topping up now, fellow investors here should just try to remember that.

we buy when there's a sale, yes, when the market is having a sale, not when FSM is having a sale.

happy investing... friendly reminder.

most of the time when the market is having SALES...
for some reasons, many are not interest......
maybe they intend to wait for more discount,
maybe they are short of cash,
maybe they are afraid of the unknown as to why there is a SALES,
maybe are burned too during the SALES.

btw,
Some of the RHB funds had been having SALES prices of > 13% discount compared to prices just 3 weeks ago.....anyone interested?

Invest for "Long terms"...buy at a discounts.....anyone?? biggrin.gif innocent.gif

Same applies to small caps funds like EISC. I topped up a few times in a month recently.

The 0.57% promo only valid for few days,  how to to in batches?
*
i actually did it daily over the few days as I was on leave and so, took the effort
to analyse my portfolio. Trimmed and top up too...

Finished with FSM project.. now is back to work. Will not be looking at FSM till the next promo.

My investments are on monthly ... only when there is promo i take a look to top up.

My statement above should not be construed as investment advice, or recommendation to buy.
I am playing a bet.
