QUOTE(adele123 @ Jul 14 2016, 03:30 PM) Just because they are popular doesn't mean they are the right choice of funds. u generated this chart from FSM website? or u do your own?just cautioning you to be wary of what you are getting. though i have to admit my list of funds do consist of the popular funds.

QUOTE(T231H @ Jul 29 2016, 04:09 PM) i got the same one too... yeap.. i got it too... My guide line in investment is... IF its too good to be true... then chances are.. its REALLY too good to be true! Dun be greedy and lost CAPITAL.he said: Hello, Interested in an investment that returns 20% on a monthly basis ? And the BEST part is the monthly return directly bank into your account. Maximum investment allowed is RM 4,200. Every month you get RM 760. Can withdraw anytime at only 1% penalty. Meaning, you can try 1 month and still make a few hundred ringgit in profit smile.gif PM me if interested to know more. i asked: if you don't gives me RM 760 every month how? go burn your house? he said: well, it's not me who will be giving the rm760. but this is the risk everyone is taking by joining such investment. there is no capital guarantee. the company will definitely continue to give out the promised return, until the day they can no longer able to. for us as investor, is to try predict how long the company is going to be around. i asked: in that case....this is sort of "skim cepat kaya"... he said: indeed. |

QUOTE(T231H @ Aug 1 2016, 12:44 PM) 'Sell everything,' DoubleLine's Gundlach says. u believe???“The artist Christopher Wool has a word painting, 'Sell the house, sell the car, sell the kids.' That’s exactly how I feel – sell everything. Nothing here looks good,” Gundlach said in a telephone interview. "The stock markets should be down massively but investors seem to have been hypnotized that nothing can go wrong." Gundlach, who oversees more than $100 billion at Los Angeles-based DoubleLine, said the firm went "maximum negative" http://finance.yahoo.com/news/sell-everyth...-202955293.html |

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Aug 3 2016, 01:17 PM) What disrespect...original creator of the original FSM portfolio returns calculator u tak tanya, ask that Crystal Ball man Download here >>> Pinky's Portfolio Worksheet with IRR CalculationIRR = Internal Rate of Return which in a more layman term, means "annualised rate of return". Say, if u invested for only a month and u managed to get a 10% increase of value, "IF" u managed to get that rate of return CONSISTENTLY over 12 months, your annualised rate of return and thus IRR = 119.99%. Similarly, let's say u invested RMx now, year 1 your fund is up 10%, year 2 up 5%, year 3 up 2%, your IRR = 5.62%. i so so so sorry.. Thousand apologies.. Now only i saw PINKY'S PORTFOLIO. Jangan marah ya... i Auntie Blur. I thinking better i key in all my data.. My UT is now on Monthly contribution. I also top up whenever there is a 1% promo thing... So, i am thinking, in FSM the column that says PROFIT.. how they derived? and would the returns differ from my manually key in IRR? |

QUOTE(Drian @ Aug 12 2016, 04:34 PM) Can anyone spoonfeed me or provide me links on how to pick funds. shortcut just follow FSM Recommended Portfolio. There are so many funds available and the choices are overwhelming. or Follow Recommended Funds. I normally focus my buying on when there is 1% offer... after buying your one or 2 fund.. later you will get the hang of it... then U will divide yr portfolio according to REGIONS... or Risk or whatever suits you. https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/resea...tormaincode=All As long as get started.. then you are on your JOURNEY to MAKING YOUR $$$ WORK HARDER FOR YOU! |

QUOTE(Avangelice @ Aug 26 2016, 11:53 AM) You paid for it already? If yes you need to wait for it to be processed and sell it off. It's unfair to the businesses if the customers who purchased before the promo happens comes back and say I want to return my product and sell me cheaper. No logic to wait for it to be process.. and sell it off!!!Airasia and auto dealers will go bust. Anyway just sharing the COOLING OFF terms in FSM: COOLING-OFF RIGHT The cooling-off right refers to your right as an investor to obtain a refund of your investment if you so request within the cooling-off period. However, you are only entitled to the cooling-off right if you are investing in the unit trust fund of that management company for the first time and you are not any one of the following: a corporation or institution; a staff of the fund manager; or person registered with a body approved by the Securities Commission to deal in unit trust funds. The cooling-off period shall be within six (6) Business Days and effective from the date of receipt of the application by Fundsupermart.com. For EPF Account 1 investments, the cooling-off period shall begin on the day the applications to invest in the units are received by Fundsupermart.com. The refund will be based on the sum of: the price of a unit on the day the units were purchased; and the charges imposed on the day the units were purchased. The refund proceeds will be paid to you according to the redemption procedures. *Note: Cooling-off right is not applicable to ALL RHB Investment Bank Funds subscriptions by using EPF Account 1 To exercise your cooling rights, the applicant should within the cooling-off period send an email to cancellation.my@fundsupermart.com OR sends a signed written cooling-off request containing the below information: Name Account number IC/Passport number Name of fund Date and amount of original subscription Payment method (i.e. cheque or EPF) The cut off time for receipt of cooling-off request is the same as the dealing day cut off time i.e. 3pm. If the cooling-off request is received after the dealing cut off time, the cooling-off will be held over until the next dealing day. Where the cooling-off request is received by post, the date for determining if the cooling-off right has been exercised within the cooling-off period is that of the postmark. |
