I also ending contract next month. I think alot of maxis users signed up the iPhone 6 contract 2 years ago. Is about time now. We gang up and all port out when contract ends. I am going to try out umobile or celcom. 20 years plus with maxis by the way

QUOTE(stevenlee @ Oct 31 2016, 08:52 AM) with current celcom package, not sure it still worth to stay with Maxis.. I had a similar thought too. So I tried celcom prepaid for a month.RM128 for 10GB from Maxis vs RM80 for 10GB+10GB from Celcom.. thinking wanna port out to test for few month.. Decided to stick with Maxis/Hotlink. My experience showed that maxis gave better coverage and data speeds in Penang island. Especially noticed that celcom was slow to switch from 3g to 4g and vice versa. |

i'm not supporting Maxis neither Celcom, Digi or the rest. I have been using Maxis > 10 years, tried port out to Celcom and Digi, but port it back to maxis within 3 months. In terms of network coverage, voice call quality and data speed, it is still Maxis. I have no choice stay with Maxis even the plan is much expensive. But do hope Celcom/Digi can has their network upgraded, giving more competitive against Maxis.

Ya I hv that experience once with celcom last year and I end up cancel the plan and paid rm150 for penalty.Just hope maxis increase their data size for all package sooner to compete. |

to be fair, based on my personal experience. Maxis customer service is very good.
But their postpaid plans are very expensive... |

To hope for maxis to increase their data size, never praise them in the cyberspace openly eventhough you personally prefer maxis as your mobile carrier. Too much praises in the cyberspace will make them complacent and gives maxis wrong public perception that consumers still loyal to them eventhough they are more expensive.Just hope maxis increase their data size for all package sooner to compete. As proven in this thread when every one raised their voices, Maxis succumbed to pressure and revised the MOP plan. So, be critical to Maxis now and keep the praises until Maxis match the competition. We are paying customers not maxis's shareholders. |

They better buck up otherwise they'd be losing more and more customers. |

And rm108 for 40gb (all day data not limited to sat/sun) by celcom if you take the goldplus package + rm10 added value) v rm128 for a meager 10gb. And maxis coverage andnd speed is not that great. Certain places celcom are much better whatmore after celcom has upgraded their system.
But of course it is your money and your right to choose 😁 QUOTE(stevenlee @ Oct 31 2016, 08:52 AM) |
