QUOTE(petanipadi @ Apr 10 2016, 10:51 AM) Just came back from Maxis Alamanda. My early contract termination is RM375.00. Will soon port out to blue or yellow. Goodbye 11 years of relationship. why not try covert the package to MOP128.I get my contract waive and free update to MOP128 save me RM375 and I getting 8GB by next month.. I know expensive compare to Celcom and other, but I feel ok ok with it as Celcom 10GB is not you can enjoy it every day, as the additional 5GB is on weekend only. gona change to 98plan once I use for 1 month |

QUOTE(jind86 @ Apr 10 2016, 01:24 PM) Based on what I read here, the operator is answering to your question that there is no new or additional contract, but there is no mention of your current contract of 7 months being waived.. As what they told , they will waive my penalty and covert to MOP128. I take this as they already cancel my ivalue 100 totally ..will contact them to confirm again I guess, they treat differently according customer spending? QUOTE(Megatron1234 @ Apr 10 2016, 05:54 PM) I think you already know MaxShit was trying to "liok sooi" even when they are having a PR disaster. I cannot see why consumers should stay with an unethical telco. MaxShit is treating you like a Water Fish and make people spend more money on them. I would port out even if I have to pay penalty, just to teach MaxShit a lesson. I going to port out soon after their new plan announcement is not up to current market standard..I already ported out. I looking for free call including 1800 and 1300 as well.. I using a lot 1800/1300 for my company meeting when I work from home... now on MOP I hv to pay QUOTE(freestyle2 @ Apr 10 2016, 06:16 PM) I still don't understand why someone should stick with maxis. Maxis one plan 98 is 5gb and celcom first go is 5gb + 5gb. Are there any hidden benefits in maxis one 98? celcom +5GB is just applicable on weekend and will burn after pass. but still that is a lot compare to maxis..I waiting for new package official launch by end of next week and see if still worth to be with them.. they should hv new package announce by 4/14 This post has been edited by stevenlee: Apr 10 2016, 06:22 PM |

QUOTE(cute_boboi @ Apr 11 2016, 04:54 PM) For 100 users, this is the part where they need to spend additional 28, which is 28% extra, which maybe a lot to most (if not all). bro,I guess if Maxis stick with 100 plan or offer 128 with 28 rebate, that would be a wiser option. Let's see how fast Maxis sales & marketing and management team work on this. On another topic, different and newer plans will keep coming, I'm also on the previous RM99 unlimited data plan (years ago for those who know), but better (or worse) package will keep coming, so just request for upgrade/transfer of packages, no matter what telco the end-user subscribed. by end of month if still no changes on ivalue 100, advise change to MOP128. if you compare both, it is more worth to opt for MOP128. additional 6GB and unlimited call lo.. |

QUOTE(EKit @ Apr 12 2016, 04:13 PM) just called Maxis. Request to change my current iValue1 to MOP98, the CS told me cannot, not possible because of the difference of RM2 between iVal1 and MOP98.... bro, asked me to change to MOP128, i said i can't utilize the data plan, why should i pay extra RM28/month for something i don't need, current MOP98 with 5gb is just nice for me. the whole conversation ended up i decided to pay for the penalty because i'm still under contract. After i do the math, if i change to MOP128, compare to i port out to celcom RM80 plan, over the course of 1 year, i still able to save more money.... honestly, a really stupid move for maxis for not allow his customer to downgrade the plan...for RM2 different they lost a customer....actually total 6 lines that i'm going to port out from maxis...really frustrated with maxis... how much is the penalty? the celcom 5+5gb , the 5GB is just for weekend and forfeit if not utilize. as Maxis still not yet reveal full package, it is risky to port out now since they going to announce new package. if they include unlimited during off peak and free call including 1300 and 1800 would be nice |

QUOTE(Megatron1234 @ Apr 12 2016, 05:22 PM) Does this MaxShit knows that say, 50% of those 100k port out, the loss in revenue per month is 50,000 X 100 = RM500k i.e. 1 year = RM60 mil? And those who ported out will be unlikely to port back to MaxShit in the next few years, let's say 3 years. The loss in revenue would be RM180 mil. what about like thisIs the penalty income + loss in RM2 per subscribers per mth worth the loss in revenue and goodwill? Assume total subscribers loss due to this fiasco is 100K X RM100 (assume avg mth charge RM100) = RM10 mil per mth X 12 mths = RM120 mil loss in revenue. Also what about damage to goodwill? We can see MaxShit is trying to limit the loss in revenue by pushing subscribers to take up more expensive package which many subscribers may not need at all. Very sneaky. 100k port out paying RM300 each = $30M instant revenue. next month launch MOP128 with way better package 8gb+8Gb with unlimited call including 1300, 1800 and burung hantu .. 50k coming back 50K x 128 = $6.4M that a whopping $36M in 2 months time... lol those waiting for porting out hv to wait until new package.. it is not wise to do now as Maxis know they hv to do something to retain their customer. the celcom package is extend until 5/31 ... if end of month the package by maxis is suck, then sama sama potong la |
