That is actually quite disgusting for a large company to do such a thing. Lower quality customers are not their customer? Even that so called "premium" customers were all actually paying a premium and not well-informed on the current package available on the market.

I once a Maxis user since 2002 and decided to port out in 2014 to Celcom and never looked back anymore.
Celcom treats me like a VIP.
The Celcom Blue Cube in Sunway Pyramid opened the door for me, press the queuing numbers for me, damn polite and friendly to me, and it was never crowded in their centre. Whereas in Maxis Centre in Sunway Pyramid, it looks like pasar malam there and their staff never bothered abt me. I did my ported out in Sunway Pyramid, all in one location.

p/s: There is one time I reported a internet down in my area. Roughly 2 hours after I filed my complaint to Celcom, their CS called me up to provide me on status update and keep apologizing to me on the inconvenience caused. Sometimes it is not abt the money we paid, its the service we get. I believed most of us don't mind paying a little extra if we are well-treated.

Any idea how can I port out from Maxshit to Digi ? I still have 9 months contract with them with penalty of RM500.

Should i wait till the contract finish or just grab the RM78 with 7Gb offer ?

I believe normally, customer under contract didn't get any offers to downgrade.

guys, when maxis call u up. pls ask them to hold, and pls start your voice recording apps. when they counter offer you, pls ask :

1)offer duration
2)offer duration period is it same as long as you didnt port out, or it actually let u enjoy 1~6 month then subsequently another price or package ( they want to postpone you until market no more choice for you to choose that time ?)

3)any contract? any penalty if take the new plant and decide to port out before 31May (celom offer until that day)

4) the additional data given is it location restriction ? off peak / peak hour / weekend  / weekday or all day long ?

pay the penalty. visit Digi center to port out

where they get the news ?

When I call Digi center, they offer me plan A : 7GB + unlimited call, or plan B : 10GB + 300min call + 300 text message. I chose the Digi 7GB + unlimited call plan for rm 78 per month. so far so good.
