QUOTE(irsyadfy @ Apr 20 2016, 07:00 PM) Masta, i have a few question. controller just read the keyboard matrix and depend on the programmed firmware,it will send the scan code theu PS/2 or USB to the computer1. what is the function of a controller? from what i read it's where u program ur keys(something like dat) hence some ppl change it/custom kb. i cant find any link directly explaining this so im asking here. 2. cant reprogram the stock one? and if u change, the upside is can make any key to become any key is it? it depends on the firmware of the custom controller,if it's like winkeyless, you can program any key any where, and you can also program plenty of macro thru their GUI |

I decided to bring out of storage my Filco TKL, which was kept away as long as my Poker 2.....
Guess what? Same not registering on some of the keys....But now (after more than 12 hours) of hammering the keyboard, there are just a couple keys that might need to press harder or longer to register...while pressing sometimes I wiggle2 then only it registers.... Guess this is what happens when you store the keyboard after a long time (2years++) owh I how nice it is to type on PBT....My Filco TKL has PBT Pink gradient keycaps |

QUOTE(davey.havok @ Apr 19 2016, 10:07 PM) You got the bad batch from 2014. Just RMA my unit (again). Thanks to your info, have gotten US115 batch (yes, one-to-one exchange again). Hopefully, no more issues with failing LED or my OCD will go into overdrive mode. While I was at the shop, played with a Topre switch keyboard a bit (Novatouch TKL). Must say, Topre rocks!!!Make sure the next one you get has a US115 serial. *Source: 1 - Here 2 - My own experience after owning 4x QFRi of various switches (not counting the 1x I gave to girlfriend) |

By the way, did anyone bought the Hana DSA set on Massdrop? I think it looks so beautiful but I'm broke. I'm just asking because I'd love to see some photos of it from any of you here that bought it lol (maybe in a few months, or even years).

Hello guys, I'm finally getting a topre after such a long time...
But, HHKB Pro 2 or Novatouch TKL? I searched on various forums and saw people saying that novatouch has a weird rattle sound, does it affect much on typing experience? |

Hi guys, I've got a Filco Minila Air (Bluetooth) keyboard and somehow it wouldn't switch on. I think it might just be a simple ON/OFF switch issue but I'm not an electrical engineer so I might be wrong. I need to get it fixed. Any of you here know where I can send it for repair? Preferably somewhere in Damansara area. Any kind of help is appreciated. Thanks!
