Omg didn't know that, ok i won't send to carwash again πŸ™

don't take my word for it though - next time if you do send your car to a car wash again, sit down and observe them. look at the foam/pads/mitts they used to scribble around your car, look at the cloths they used to dry your car, observe everything - more importantly, the "snow foam" they used which are generally very alkaline in nature is quite damaging to the paint in the long run.

i also can guarantee that 10/10 car wash centers do not properly clean and rinse the foam/pads after every wash which means they use the same foam/pads/mitts they washed the muddy/covered in crap car before you to wash yours hence cross-contamination. they also don't use a separate foam/pads/mitts to wash the wheel arches/bottom part of the car and that would mean road debris, stones, tars gets rubbed all over your paintwork.

swirl marks/scratches are inevitable for contact washes but you can minimize the damage (2 bucket system) and only move your wash mitt in one direction (forward and backwards), not circular.

i considered myself to be a very careful person and wash all my cars myself and yet i still notice fine hairline scratches here and there so imagine what would a car wash center that is trained to maximize output can do to your car unsure.gif

What you just mentioned totally right, need to be careful

I do send to the carwash which also a well known detailing centre around my area which the owner a good friend of mine, he also mentioned just like you said, so it seems i do wash at the right place, hopefully πŸ™‚πŸŒΈπŸ”₯

hello seniors, would like to seek for opinion, my primary car is celestial grey color, did both ceramic coating as well as ppf in front hood, but now the front hood has watermark stains,

my current setup is some cheap china foamer 2l with osren wash, osren wash mitt for the body, as well as armor all wash mitt for the rims,

is this good enough? as my ppf installer recommend me soft99 ones that mentioned above, i couldn't recall the white ones or the black ones, but thing is my car is grey, so i didnt dare to risk it, then i use osren wash, and its going to finish soon, not sure if i should change to meguairs nxt or igl coating blizzard that been mentioned alot, or use back my meguairs gold class that left over. thanks in advance yeah

Depends on how etched in the waterspot is. I have tried gyeon waterspot (Q2M), didnt remove enough. Next i would try carpro spotless but u can try pm them for better advice.

Or go back to the ppf / coating shop? Just in case diy doesnt work.
I dont have ppf, so worse case is recoating it, which u can diy.

Im using the igl eco delete to remove the watermark. Diluted 1:1 to try and it can remove the light watermark...for deeper watermark just use it without dilute.

It can remove i can say around 80-90% of the watermark on my car. Then i finish it up with adams graphene boost to topped my coating. My car was ppfed at the front and all i can say so far the igl eco delete is safe to use on ppf car. Just as usual..try to do the test spot first.

- Injector cleaner
- Engine / motor flush
- SeaFoam / Deep Creep

These are the three combinations you need to keep your car healthy and long-lasting for the decades to come...

There are tests done for SeaFoam that can be viewed in YouTube, and it works wonders...

Can give a try on the Soft 99 Iron Terminator basically its just removing the iron particle which makes the wheel cleaning easier .

Aside you may also try Carpro WheelX or even Koch Chemie MWC were also excellent choice.

Hi, I'm considering applying IGL Ecocoat EZ Graphene ceramic coating to my car. Is this a good product? Does it last beyond the 12 months (IGL claimed it can last up to 12m)?

Also, are there any other ceramic coatings you would recommend that offer longer durability?

Theres a youtuber called scotthd who did all this coating tests
https://youtu.be/Gj9CRNHbLjk?si=9b97RGF27EuqM3Q8

I tried both igl ez and carpro cquk. IGL one easier to apply plus costs less per volume, if this is ur first time, i would go for igl.
