QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Aug 6 2019, 05:21 PM) Just got my hands on the Seal & Shine... I bought 3 bottle for a total of $175 incl shipping from Amazon a month back. If compare this against The Bread Maker, this is way much better in terms of durability, shine and smoothness. Application wise I used the Bead Maker method Woo hoo. Hopefully have time to test it out this coming few days and will share some feedback too. Below are the beads after almost a month, car is mostly parked outside even during night time, during the one month, car washed with soap only once while most time is just rinse only and wipe off Photo taken after downpour yesterday morning and I happened to drive this to work otherwise my son takes it to Uni Update : Last 2 photo taken on 12/8 during drizzle This post has been edited by GuyM: Aug 12 2019, 10:45 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(genkis3 @ Sep 14 2019, 05:30 PM) hi TurtleWax Seal n Shine users, As I user who have applied on almost 3 months, it's still holding on and beads well. I have thoroughly wash the car I think 4-5 times and the rest is just rinse with water on weekend due to dust how long or how many heavy downpour will TW SNS withstand and remain it's water beading behavior? nowadays lazy and only apply single layer of Meguiars Fast Finish. the water beading of fast finish will gone after a week of heavy downpour. it's still sheeting water thought but same like most of u guys i also prefer beading. One thing for sure, it still sheets well during downpour |

QUOTE(genkis3 @ Sep 22 2019, 08:41 PM) feel free today and decided to test 50/50 Turtlewax SNS vs Meguiars Fast Finish on front bonnet. both single layer application. Did you used too much SnS?quite surprise how difficult to completely remove the Meg Fast Finish which i have just applied last week. using ph13 degreaser 1/4 mixture, spray on wet surface, use wash mitt to scrub and leave 1mins then rinse off. repeated 5times,1time scrub with clay towel. after that ipa wipe down. for ease of use, Meg FF win hands down. SNS tend to leave some oily residue which hard to completely buff it clean. need alot of clean microfiber. glossiness is about the same for both products. slickness is on SNS side. i will try to update here about the durability from time to time until one of it stop beading. |

QUOTE(woodentiger86 @ Nov 25 2019, 04:22 PM) Can anyone recommend a decent cleaner for use on rims? Especially with removal of stubborn brake dust/grime etc on rims that do not have regular TLC. This is a bollocks product wasted my money trying thisI bought a spray bottle of Abro Wheel Cleaner a few months ago and tried it out, but so far I didn't encounter the part where the chemical will turn 'purple'... Either that or I'm not using the wheel cleaner correctly. Usually end up I will use dishwashing liquid + a wheel brush/MF towel to clean the rims. |
